First of all, I just wanted to say thank you for continuing to improve the game. I am leveling my 4th GWF since live and I notice some of the small unannounced changes. Such as getting interrupted less when using Reaping Strike. If it were not for Cryptics commitment to listen to the community and continue to improve the game I would be looking for entertainment elsewhere. I am pretty irate about some things, but this keeps me around. Anyways, on to the point.
The queue system can be a real bear. Getting dungeons and skirmishes in level range as you progress to 60 can be a real issue. I really appreciate the Call to Arms system that is coming in for skirmish events to help those who missed out still get their achievements and also provide a fun way to get companions and such. I have sometimes spent 4-5 days joining a queue twice a day before I can get my delve or skirmish and continue to progress my character. Waiting for 10 hours in a queue can be pretty boring. So it would be nice if we could get a desktop alert when a queue pops.
I know that some folks might suggest an in game browser such as Eve Online has or even DDO has a similar thing. However that would use up resources on PWE's side of things, and I am sure they do not want that. However a client side alert, some sort of alarm bell, even just a sound played to the desktop like the phase sound alert in skirmishes, would do wonders. This way we could browse the forums, watch Netflix, play Mindcraft or Skyrim, whatever, and still get the alert. A visual flash effect to the screen is another option, but bad for people prone to seizures. Even forcing a maximize back to Neverwinter and allowing us to see the queue has popped would be viable. It would just be nice to make the queue system a little more customized and user friendly.

In Starcarft 2 if you tab out waiting in the queue it will automatically switch back to the program when it finds you a match. Something similar would be great.
The game runs great for me in full screen mode, some lag in some dungeons. Usually when they have a memory leak, but occasionally just because my system which is fairly new, purchased a year ago, is not a super duper top end, xfire, gaming monster. Windowed mode just sacrifices too much performance for me, but thanks for the input, for many people this may be a viable solution, but I am sure it is not for everyone.
