Hey rayvell, welcome to the Foundry community! :)
What exactly would you like to know?
From what I can see in those pictures, you're off to a good start with making a custom cave or entrance to an underground hall though (assuming you're going to flesh the map out more so you can't see those flat parts of the map ground)!

Yeah that's pretty much what I meant. :)
Also, other than "Zone" in the Foundry you can also join the NW_Foundry channel so you can ask for more tips on how to build or if something in particular is confusing.
The best way of learning in my opinion, other than creating maps yourself, is to try out other Foundry quests - You'll get some great ideas!
For detailing maps, I can recommend anything from (for example) @apocrs1980, @lolsorhand, @lovepeas and @Raphael_diSanto :)
Ah, just so many to choose from...

It's a great community, if you have any questions then post the on the forum and you will soon get a reply.

With the maps just remember you can't have too much detail. (No really, they put a limit on it).
Great start though, stick with it. :)

I would as focus on the things around that cave entrance. Such as the horizon and flat land. You can have the most wonderful sity built, but if the surroundings are lacking it all falls down to the lacking detail of that. I think it's a very good thing to stay consistent in a map.

(It looks like a good start as groshie said)

But consistency is key I believe, because the more "fleshed out" your surroundings are, the easier it is to notice fuglies and things that stand out from the otherwise good looking surroundings.

But I would say to keep a keen eye around what you build as much as the "main" thing.

If you are building a non-flat cavern type complex it definitely looks off to a great start.
You may also want to look at the Details tab filter "boulder" or "crag" or "mossy" there are some enormous rocks that you could use (perhaps at the sides of the entrance) to block views of empty expanse, as well as give you some more natural (less smooth) looking cavern walls (maybe even some very rough terrain "floor" portions).

@DeeSauter's latest addition to her campaign has an entirely custom-built cave constructed in one of the exterior maps. It's excellent work. If you're trying to build a cave from scratch, I'd talk to her and see whether she has any tips.

That said, given the amount of cussing and swearing we in the nw_foundry channel heard while she was building it, her advice may end up being "Don't do it. Give yourself root canal surgery instead, it'll be less painful!" :D

Jaggeropth is another author to look out for on the map making front; the silver mine in the second part of his Finger of God campaign is a very impressive interior. Like the other artists mentioned, and some of those who are not, he manages to place his own personal and unique stamp on his maps.

It so totally is. I don't want to think of the hours and frustration I suffered making some of the things I have in my quest. You'd think a spiral staircase would be easy, but nooo... Although, I will admit, I had serious minecraft flashbacks when I was building that particular piece.

Central column, stairs all round it, torches on the column. It was really very minecraft, LOL.

Flymode camera will make a lot of this pain a thing of the past, I hope.

I can only imagine the funny glitches we'll find with it xD (But so thankful they are adding it!)

Get in there, be creative, and play play play. it's a fairly short learning curve.
And yes of course, go play other foundries, and check out what solutions in building they may have done. Learning by example is a great thing.

ALSO: The people on the "Chat Channels" are super! and will offer advice and will lend a hand when needed.
I'm usually there spouting my silly advice with a great bunch of people.
