Gauntlgrym Disconnect issue

I filed a bug report in game but I suspect others maybe seeing the issue and public out cry is the best way to fix things.

Basically I will start a Gauntlygrym PvE or PVP event and if I get disconnected I loose all my hard work. I just DC'ed from a PvE where I had helped kill the boss and had turned in over 90 broken armor and was about to turn in 20+ of the other item (can't remember the name, barding something or another). When I logged in I was in a different instance of the PvE and the forge hadn't even been captured yet. So I didn't get the first certificate needed for entering dungeons, nor the reward for all the stuff I did do.

In PvP if I disconnect and login I get kicked out of PvP back to the fire by the forge. What really annoying is that there is some message on the screen but I am kick out too fast to even read it. And if it happens a few minutes before the end of the PvP (that we are quite often winning) I can't get in to another PvP costing me the 7 grym coins, and that certificate for entering the dungeons.

To compound the issue, it is something in the Neverwinter system that is causing the disconnect. If it is on my end I have to reboot my modem before I try to login but on these disconnects I just have to enter my login info and I am back. Also to prove it is your software I am usually running teamspeak and it stays connected, the entire time.

I have been doing Gauntlgrym for a week and it has happened in one or the other events everyday since I started. Once in a great while would be a non-issue but every day is unacceptable. While it is free to play as I have forked out a little money (one should if they are going to play a lot), so I am going to expecting a slightly better performance than this.

It should be noted that while you seem to be avoiding some of the better standards for MMO's. No matter the reason for the disconnected, not returning a disconnected user to the exact place/progress/party/instance/event they were when they disconnected is not one you should be trying to change.

WHATEVER PROGRAMMER SCREWED UP GAUNTLYGRYM FIRE HIM IMMEDIATELY. And, as a programmer, I can say that.

My guild is currently running Gauntlgrym dungeon while I get to sit on my duff doing NOTHING. ALL BECAUSE I GOT DISCONNECTED, BU YOUR SOFTWARE, (not my ISP) AND UPON SIGNING IN I WAS KICKED FROM THE PVP.

HEY STUPID PROGRAMMERS AT CRYPTIC STUDIOS FIX YOUR HAMSTER. I HAVE PAYED SO MAKE IT WORTH MY MONEY.

PS. every time I get disconnected and kicked from a pvp or pve I will be posting here you'll either ban me or fix your HAMSTER.

EDIT: Yep my group got 15+ grym coins while I sat here. I DEMAND COMPENSATION FOR YOUR STUPIDITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guess what you still haven't fixed your stupidity. Got disconnected and when I logged I was kick from gauntlgrym.

Wait ... wait don't tell me all your programmer have college degrees? That explains everything...

Oh by the way, another stupid mechanic is if I die in pvp and get removed from the event I have to rez with and injury.

SO NOW YOU OWE ME AN INJURY KIT and as the original gauntlgrym team I was on looked like it was winning and as the second team I got on lost you OWE ME 4 MORE GRYM COINS. Why just because I am very very very very very very pissed off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok lets put the screaming aside for a second and throw in a more constructive thought. I did 5 runs since the patch on friday and not a single problem. What is really shocking is that today a problem, on my end, caused the connection to be lost in gauntlgrym PvP and as I had to reboot the modem I was disconnected for around 5 minutes and when I logged in I was still in the PvP and able to finish and get my grym coins.

Now if you fixed the issue great, but I am a programmer, and unless the issue has been know for several weeks, I doubt it has been fixed this quickly. Of course well see what happens in the next few days and weeks. But if it returns to normal (game disconnects me and kick me form event) I must wonder what it was these last few days that allowed it work, as it should, even when there was a problem that was caused by my hardware.

I hope the problem is fix. But if not you have one nightmare of mess to sort out as to why it worked so well for me this weekend.
