So much discussion about Tene's ruining PvP...How about we get some new maps or capture the flag or something else new to do in PvP first?. Fixing Tene's isn't going to suddenly make the same 2 tired PvP point capture maps suddenly super awesome again...Balance issues can change depending on what the format of the PvP is and what teams are trying to accomplish, so why not mix it up a bit and see what happens?
Uber enchants are PW's current bread and butter cash cow. Seems to me like there would be a huge incentive for them to expand PvP a little to further people spending and/or playing tons in order to slot said enchants and compete at the highest levels of PvP...
Perhaps but if you dont watch yourself people will leave in droves and they will end up losing money.. The Tenes are a HUGE problem and should be addressed hopefully at the same time as adding new maps.

Yea I feel like we are still in Beta PvP only 2 maps of 5v5 to scrimmage. How about dueling outside of town. How about 5 different maps of 10v10. Then add a huge glory shop where you have PvP companions and mounts gear etc to attain. A whole PvP system could be added that would make this game awesome.
Of course you would have to fix Tene's as well at the same time doing this. I mean why not.

Let's just forget about the obviously broken and OP Enchants that's been improperly nerfed and rebuffed multiple times already, which allows insanely tanky classes to be able to burst players down while tanking 3-4 people at the same time. Yeah, Cryptic should be more worried about making more PvP maps instead of balancing Greater Tenebrous stacking.
People still don't get it. Cryptic couldn't care less about PvP in this game. All they care about is their Zen shop and a little about the severe lack of PvE content in this game. Do you see anything related to PvP in the Feywild module? Nope, not 1 single thing.
We were lucky they gave us ONE 20v20 PvP map with Gauntlgyrm, but that's because it was already planned since launch in May, but they were very late in finishing it.

The things that you constantly complain about are "well known and discussed" because you start threads about them, not because there are droves of players who are actually complaining about them.
When the devs add more PvP maps and options, great. A one on one dueling mechanic? Nifty. Free PvP outside of the PE? No. I hope that they never go there.
The right to command is earned through duty, the privilege of rank is service.
What kind of logic is this? people are complaining about tene enchants, there is no word that this is even being looked at or read by devs. this is not a bargaining chip. people are just whining.
You can not get the devs to work on something by throwing your friends under a bus. these are NOT mutually exclusive projects. heck these are not even current projects. Don't tell the devs to forget about something all you will do is get a bunch of people talking about tenebrous enchants and your request will be completely lost.
A better approach is make a POSITIVE thread that's requesting input, like make a poll what kinda pvp maps would you like to see toss out a few examples and OTHER and let people just fill your thread with ideas. THIS is the type of thread even devss participate in.
Also keep in mind assuming they hadn't already started on pvp maps it will take 3-6 months for new projects to be seen in game and no amount of bargaining, begging, pleading, trash talking, or whining will speed that up.
PVPers get a very bad rep as it is for being negative and complainers cause they are most known for "Balance" requests that basically nerf the whole game. You do not want to encourage this because it will only reduce the incentive to bring out pvp maps.
on the other hand if you can encourage ideas brainstorming and ways for pwe to earn money your requests will be heard, just ask the people who requested ways to craft dyes. I saw the alchemy idea on a what kind of profession do you want to see thread. though im sure they probably started alchemy way sooner considering how fast it came out.

Well dueling outside town be a start. I rather have open world PvP where you can kill each other in the open world no need for a PvP arena. That is gaming at its finest.

Tenes and the other top tier enchants are a huge profit for PW. You can run every T2 dungeon fairly quickly with rank 5 enchants and a 10k GS which costs next to nothing to put together. Sure some people are spending 100's of dollars on their character to be able to run CN that much faster, but most are not as its not even close to necessary to be efficient. The people who are spending 100's and 100's of dollars are doing so in order to dominate PvP...
There is way more monetary incentive for PW to expand PvP and keep these uber enchants in the game than there is for them to make another dungeon that offers no incentive for people to go after the best enchants in the game in order to complete it...furthermore, unless the new dungeon is quite a bit more complex and engaging than the current T2 dungeons, I think they risk losing way more players who will lose faith in the devs ability to make new decent end game content.
Releasing a few new PvP maps and/or modes is a hell of a lot easier than making new dungeons that aren't exactly the same as all the others and that don't have tons of exploits/bugs...
