I'm looking for something I can use for a bear encounter. But there don't seem to be many animal encounters that I can reskin into a bear. I've looked at the wolves in the werewolf encounters, but they don't seem right (and they yelp when they die).
So does anybody know of any encounters that have good animal-like attacks?
Any advice would be most appreciated.

I actually used an Undead Hulk for a bear fight, and it doesn't look bad. "Undead - Melee - Standard Difficulty 4" I believe.
I tried this myself... I tried lots of different critters as a base mob with the bears skin.
The problem is, for some bizzare reason the bear doesn't have an 'attack' animation. And no matter what you use, they only ever seem to just nose butt you and look odd in a fight.
This is a serious oversight, we have very few natural critters as it is.
Sorry to not be of more help, but you wont ever get them to look like they are attacking.

Another approach might be to just have one of the weakest encounter spawn and look like a bear so it'll die before the player realizes it didn't really have any animations.
(Just spawn the rest of the group below the map or something)
I've seen a few weird bears (and other animals) though, like spitting spiders reskinned as animals... Not pretty with bears that spit green goo at you.
