Probably the best things about foundrys in the last month was the Tymora's gift bonus. Seeing something drop mostly from foundrys made me want to play them whenever I jumped on just for the chance to get a nice swag of AD. That is something the foundrys really need I think, to encourage people to play more of them. It doesn't have to be all the time but a foundry weekend would be really nice. And to limit the "Farm" maps getting all the love have diminishing returns so that replaying the same quest gives a lot lower chances of drops. What do you think?

I like the general thrust of this idea. One thing though... the "exploiters" if you will, although its not really cheating, could creat several "farm" maps. I think the key is mixing it up... just have it happen and end before exploitive people can really take advantage I guess. And obviously it can't be the same next time. In fact if its a drop one time the next one should counter maps that aim to maximize that like something that you get from running alot or something lol.

If they really wanted to do away with farming maps, they could set an arbitrary threshold for a minimum # of assets, maps, & quest objectives and keep the formula a secret.

Missing Tymora's gift? Yup me too.

Nah not me. I've decided I am no good with currency in game as my real-life penchant for frugality and saving for a rainy day seeps into my gameplay.

How often do I moan of having no bag space? Well, Tymora's event meant I could fill up the two last bag slots and yet I still haven't been to Auction to buy them. Instead, my Astral Diamond pile sits in my currency tab, glaring accusingly at me as I juggle the 5 or 6 available spaces I have left.

The trouble is, Tymora almost gifted me enough AD for a cat...well, if I play for another month or two. I don't need a cat, but it would be cool right? And one of the best experiences I ever had in PvP was when I got my <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font> handed to me by a wizard in a wedding dress - it was just so bizarre; I have had yearnings for a dress of my own ever since.

Having no bag space and being poor was a simple dilemma-free life. Having no bag space with the means to rectify that, just makes me think of all the other ways I could spend my AD on. I'm almost tempted to buy some

On a more serious note - because we all know I would play Foundrys to death, whatever - I still hope for the day when the rotating event can reward Foundry players with more than an XP boost.

Waitaminute... isn't this event over already?

I do miss the rewards, but never got to try for a lot of the boxes. Real Life events pulled me away from the game during most of the event. T_T

Yes the event is over. But the community needs to keep showing the developers things that we like rather then just complaining about what we don't. What I am saying is that the Tymora's Gift packages made me play more foundrys than I was already reviewing as a fellow author because my efforts in busting through some plays were getting rewarded. When playing a lot to increase fellow quests to hit their play limits in achieving daily status, we don't qualify for the daily AD. It takes me several days to hit 4 because most of my foundrys are review trades. Maybe that could be another daily quest to help the author community.

" Daily Foundry - You must play four quests that have less than 20 plays to assist authors in achieving Daily status"

I know...I know the next couple of comments will go like.

" People will abuse that and exploit short quests blah blah blah"

Come on people we cannot let the terrorists win. The majority of us do the right thing so we should be the ones that the game caters for. If we have a dark section of the community then we police it. Find an exploit then report it.

After 911 what did the world do? Shut down plane flights completely because a terrorist used one against the larger community.
No we improved airline security and continue to use a commodity that benefits the wider population. Why can't we do this here too.
Improve the securities and give the main population something to enjoy.

Help the devs. Give them positive ideas. Give them feedback. Help with our security.
It's time to stop the whining and complaints. The foundry community can be better than this.

*Sorry this must have tickled my rant bone lol.
