I'd like to know how satisfied everyone is with the Foundry.

I'm somewhat satisfied with the foundry. I really think we need a TON more assets altogether. Any asset that is in cryptic maps (for the most part) should already be there for us, they are not. Dev's need to go insane making assets they think we would like/ use.

I agree with this, though it's caused me to lean more towards not at all. If they wanted us to have dragons, and gelatinous cubes, I think we'd already have them. Right now, I sadly doubt we'll ever get real bosses, or cubes.

I'm only somewhat satisfied seeing as how I get constant complaints for not having dragons/chests/skill nodes available for the ones who play my quests. :P

Edit: Oh, and then there's all the complaints about my poor little dragonlings who seem to be in a vegetated state while fighting. XD (No animations)

I'm very satisfied with the Foundry.

I'd LOVE to see more stuff and more power given to the Authors.

Such as the power to permaban people who give [REDACTED] reviews for no reason. :)

I'm only somewhat satisfied, I feel a bit more could be done. I do not see a lot of communication between the devs and players, so I know asking for this is a long-shot. An official post should be made asking for suggestions on improving the Foundry, though I'm sure a lot of it is already realized they just don't seem to have the time to care about it.

For example, using 'OR' in storyboard and other functions outside of it. I feel like the current state of Foundry is very limited, though fortunately creativity is limitless. I still think that the Foundry should receive a major patch.

Somewhat - Needs loads more assets as above and a TIMER.
More encounters many single and a TIMER.
Ground rectangles like the water ones grass, desert/sand, rocks, etc. and a TIMER.
Ability to have flying encounters that can dive on you from above, and a TIMER.

And many other things like a TIMER.

For those of you thinking of more foundry assets, on August 22, when Feywild drops, there should be more stuff to play with, i.e. maps, elven architecture, more costumes, etc. looking forward to seeing what comes out.

It would be nice if they gave us some dragons to work with. This is SUPPOSED to be Dungeons & DRAGONS!

I've edited the title of the thread to reflect that this is an unofficial poll. Unless the thread or poll was created by staff, please refrain from using "official" in your thread title, as this implies that PWE has endorsed such.

Well... My two cents is the Foundry is okay as it is, but should be less dumbed-down. Simple tools such as timers, OR logic and simple (non-overflow exploitable) global Foundry variables would give the Foundry much more room for storytelling without the chances for exploits. (Griefer maps with the OR logic, maybe, but it's minor and the worst you can do is make a quest unplayable - and we can do that with a big rock or invisible walls.)

Looking at bigger solutions besides "This might be exploitable so let's not have it" and including things like bosses and skill nodes would make the Foundry truly viable for creating some significant content, but I'm not expecting it.

Oh yeah, and more enemies/models/ANIMATIONS blah blah... and what's with having a 3000X3000X7000 detail when your biggest map is 2048x2048?

    Alright, done with small rant.

TL;DR: The Foundry is okay, but there are things that can be improved with little effort. This was supposed to be a highlight of this game, they should make it more so.

Ever since that terrible, fateful moment when I discovered there were no dragons in foundry (after drying the tears, of course!) this is what I've been saying! XD
