Arena - Duel - Others PVP. WHEN?

I still do not understand how a game like this does not have duels!
No Arena!
Multiple types of PVP!

I understand that the game is recent ... But duels and arena! are essential!

Please begin to think about adding other pvp styles because domination pvp and Gauntlgrym pvp are just horse racing!!!!... and everyone in my guild are starting to get bored and leave the game.

Just my opinion.

    meh ... is how my opinion sits on both of them.

    dont do either in the games I play that do offer them.

    this game has no pvp endgame. it's pretty depressing. duels I can live without, but not even a simple ranking system that rewards pvpers that actually PVP?

    I would like this as well, seems really lame with only 2 pvp maps and the same stuff over and over.. I mean it can't cost too much to foundry a couple of small arena maps, seriously. Hell gives us the tools and I'm sure you'll get some really cool pvp maps.

    LOL another 10-15% person that thinks PVP is the main focus.

    Play a PVP centric game if you want better PvP not a PVE centric one.
    PVPers make up 10 to 15% of most player bases in a PVE centric game.

    Want real balance get rid of PVP increase group content and Dungeons.

    So why are they essential for you?
    I ask because these are features that I consider to be completely uninteresting and would hate to see the devs waste time on them when they could be adding new paragon paths, races, classes, and content to the game.

    The question is not whether or not they should add dueling to the game, the question is why it wasn't there from the start.

    If an MMO has PvP, it needs to have dueling. Why? You might think duels are just something people do for the heck of it, but that's not the case.

    For PvPers, especially PvP guilds, duels are one of the best tools for evaluating player skill quickly and for helping players improve their game through training against a specific class or build. It is highly conspicuous in its absence.

    Right now if I want to evaluate a player for entry or promotion into our guild I need to put a group together and watch them during a match, hoping we are up against a team that is difficult enough to feature some of their skill, or I need to make two groups and try to time them to queue against each other and hope I face that player enough to evaluate them properly. All this is assuming I'm not already doing something else and have the time to do this. The lack of duels is extremely annoying.

    The bottom line is dueling needs to be added to the game yesterday. Get on this.

    I support this thread 1000%!!!

    Dueling please, just set it up do those whom dont pvp or duel don't have to worry about people requesting duels all of the time so everyone is happy.

    Also a couple more 5v5 domination maps would be nice, and a capture the flag type mode would be fun, but would be a bit hard to keep certain specs from being unstoppable (gwf sent comes to mind) flag runners.

    "oh my gosh my pve game will be ruined!"

    All OP is asking for has been a basic feature available for mmo's for about 15 years.

    The funny part is the 10-15%, i guess you have done some serious statistics study before you came out with those extremely accurated numbers, right?

    /facepalm

    Actually i think the devs are considering both PvE and PvP contents for the end game, GG and PvP rewards it's an obvious example.

    I agree.

    We cannot even test out builds properly, because we cannot challenge other players to a duel.
    This game should have had duels from the start, champions online has it - we need it, too.
    Pvp in every mmo IS the endgame content that you actually farm for in pve.





    This is very, very sad :(

    Are you sure this is a PVE centric game? If that was the case wouldn't the PVE be less horrible and boring? The entire focus of the game seems to be the combat system, which is only fully utilized in PVP, not by killing thousands of the same boring mobs over and over again.
