Ohhh it makes me drool at the prospect! 2 million people that makes the odds of someone stumbling across my quest every hour pretty **** go.... Oh wait, no it doesn't...
Yep. That's why it pays to advertise. There are billions of people in the world, but no one will know about this tasty new breakfast cereal you created unless you pay advertising companies to spread the news about it to the masses.
*sings* "I like Gammera! He's so neat!!! He is full of turtle meat!!!"
"Hah! You are doomed! You're only armed with that pathetic excuse for a musical instrument!!!" *the Savage Beast moments before Lonnehart the Bard used music to soothe him... then beat him to death with his Fat Lute*

I constantly change my signature just to see if there's a bit more interest one week to the next.
1,500,000 of those 2 million potential foundry players will never play any foundry that is not a quick, 15 minute farm quest for the daily. Probably 1,900,000 of the 2 million wont even go past page 2 to find a foundry quest, meaning if your not the "best of farm quests" you wont be anywhere near where the players might stumble on you. My quest has been out since BETA, I have less than 50 plays, and it is by no means a bad quest with an average 4.2 rating (only one 1 star with no review thankfully).
Which just means advertising to get that other potential 500,000 is even MORE important. I think those 50 plays were probably ALL from the forums. In fact, a large portion of my reviews I have on my quest are favor reviews for playing other peoples quests.
It is very very disheartening, But I still have fun making the quests, so I keep doing it.

but I have seen players who do really enjoy foundry quest. I've even seen players who say the only play the game for the foundry. I do admit sometime for the daily foundry I will find a quick one, but sometimes I really do enjoy seeing what the community can create. There are people out there that do indeed play the foundry for enjoyment alone.

New to the game? Check out my build guide to give you an idea on how to set up your characters!
I promote my quests every day, I strive to do something about the dire situation our quests find themselves in. You yourself point out that your quest has been around since BETA and only has 50 plays...
Thats EXACTLY my point! The system is SO bad that a quest such as yours cant be found, by any means!
I have started another thread here about a possible 'promotion' idea, that some like and some dont. I will try and start it regardless I would appreciate your thoughts.
