Does Plaguefire Defense debuff stack with ARPen.?

Would like to know if my 24% armor penetration renders the debuff portion of plaguefire useless? Or can i reduce a targets defense below zero?

    ArP and Plague fire are a little different ArP goes against the AC and plague fire lowers Defense

    When you have enough ArPen then the ArPen loweres the damage reduction to 0% and then plaguefire reduces the damage resistance below 0% (dont know the exact numbers, lets go with 3,5% for plaguefire now) to -3,5% which in the end means that you increase your damage by 3,5%

    ah so it does. Was worried that once you have 24 % GPF is considered useless. thanks guys

    arm pen scales really will with all damage resistance and defense debuffs... my thaum cw with arcane encounters reducing 10% defense (elemental empowerment), conduit of ice 15% dmg mitigation debuff (assailing force), ray of enfeeblement, plus greater plaguefire combined with 2k arm pen absolutely shreds everything and makes everyone one else in the group do the same..
