Please fix the "share quest" mechanism

I party-ed with someone and let him shared a quest with me. Then I left our party and did the quest by myself. But after I completed the quest by talking to the NPC and getting my xp and reward, I found that I'm still considered haven't done the quest. I checked the "Show All" option in my Quest Journal and couldn't find the quest I just completed.

Did I miss something or that's a known bug?

    It is a known bug & has been since closed beta. This has made partying a nightmare, especially when you want to sync quests with a friend.
