    2. path to target better.

    3. Attack things that attack me or I attack, regardless of range.

    4. Ranged companions do not need to charge into melee to shoot things.

    If this change was put into the game... Even white companions could serve a purpose.

    This is why henchman type companions will ALWAYS be infinitely inferior to passive stat bonus companions.

    Cryptic, please stop making them altogether and give us more interesting options for passive companions. Until you can give henchman an AI worth using (I have never seen a useful henchman AI in any MMO, ever), stop wasting resources on them.
