Ok, I got on the Preview server to see what the changes were. And there were some BIG ones, but also, still sorely missing some vital things.
Now the "vital " things are only my opinion, I'm sure everyone has their own list,
And NOTE: I don't know how much will stay in the patch, how much more may be added etc.
So that out of the way, here goes: This is JUST my first glance and impressions
GOOD: Free camera Mode BAD: Free Camera Mode has collisions (didn't see a way to turn that of other than the old method of mouse hunting) GOOD: Integrated Library assets in 3D edit. Assets window pops up on the right to add any of the assets directly in 3D mode BAD: NOPE, the above is ALL GOOD. GOOD:Most all Assets are clickable and movable in 3D edit mode BAD: Not a big bad, but when moving NPCs they leave a ghost and do not retain their animation, rather they default to the costume "stance" GOOD:Elven Assets BAD: No NEW Doors, no additional WALLS, no FLOORS, and one elven WINDOW (At least give us some small sticks and glass so we can make our own) GOOD: More animations? (Not really had the time to see if there were any) BAD: Nope don't see them, and come on, REALLY, no SITTING on a chair, or a stool Anims??? GOOD:Mobs drop Items-- again not tested by me. BAD: No NPCs "consume" items Yet (might be wrong on this) GOOD: Key bind fix (see below) BAD: You are Forced to reset the Keybind to get out of 3D edit mode now (so no more Ctrl Tab - but you still have to wait an age for things to "reset") GOOD: New NPCs
BAD: Still Can't change colors on default clothing, and still nothing but "armor" choices in the drop down menu on most NPCs Good: General bug fixes?? I crash more now just entering the Foundry BAD: No Map Saving/Sharing yet, NO TIMERS?, no Gelatinous cubes (ok sorry about the cubes thing), and other things we had on our lists and have not been implemented.
But all things said an done, this is a step in the right direction.

Thanks for the summary. I don't have the time to test it, so it's nice to read about the changes here. Looking forward to free camera and 3d asset mode.
New NPC but no new encounters?..bummer i want more boss like variety, even if there is no boss encounter at least give us more strong variety of encounters

Yes sorry, there are more encounters. And the addition to Class encounters (i.e. Cleric, Control Wizard, etc, and in both flavors (Friendly/Aggressive)
This again was just mu first impression and hadn't have too much time to spend with it.
And some things may be added, and some things may be taken away.
But for the Love of one of the Gods! Floors, windows, walls and sitting animations!

I always hope that the Devs see our posts and can take them back with them and either use our suggestions or trash them.

Not having elven assets isn't terrible, they explained how much work it is. I am certain it will come with time, patience
Animations take alot of time to make, so I'll just wait patiently for that as well. (And as the above, I don't see it as a negative. More like a nonexistant "thing". A negative should be something that's with, but completely useless or broken. BAD: Still Can't change colors on default clothing, and still nothing but "armor" choices in the drop down menu on most NPCs.
BAD: No Gelatinous cubes.
Then again, timers you can do through mobs. (Needs work yes, needs alot of bug testing yes. But works.) But this aren't really negatives for me, they are things on a wishlist that might get made as time goes on.
You have to remember though, there is a reason it is a test server. Report those bugs and hopefully most will be fixed, and so further stability added to the foundry.

Doesn't matter, to get something into the foundry they have to basicly to alot of work. (I believe it was Sominator, or one of the devs on a german stream that described the process. Probobly the latter.)
It's more complicated than just copy pasting, and when someone has time over, well then they can work to add things to the foundry.

Edit : Oh and also, the crash entering Foundry i think it's the same as when changing character.
