quick armor pen question

Hello, i was just curiouse if when getting to 24% resist ignore should i add my ignore from dex into that. Currently i have 14.7% from armor pen, and another 7% from dex, so should i add those and try to get 24% combined? Thank you in advance!

    I think you are getting confused. Armor pen is the damage resistance of other players or enemies that will be ignored when you strike them, while Dex will give you damage resistance (same as you get from Defense)

    no, he is right. the DEX of a GF adds "resistance ignored" (=arpen)

    although im pretty sure u can add those two (arpen on items+arpen from DEX) to get your overall resistance ignored.

    I recommend getting the 22-24% via armor pen. 2-2.4k armor pen = $$ in the bank... plus plaguefire debuff + any other defense/dmg resist debuffs.. makes for lawlz deepz.

    Tyvm! Also to the person above, for a gf dex gives resist ignored, aoe damage resist, and deflection chance.

    Yea that's why pumping some into dex very viable for a GF build for burst. I restated my dex to 16 so with my arm pen at 19% +6 is a nice 25% and notice a difference in cutting threw the heavier armor. Also a lot of classes will try and buff there mitigation now up to 28% + now just to have some mitigation since everyone is around at least 24% arm pen. So the extra couple % really helps in pure damage added. Now if I can get my base arm pen to 24% so that I have 30% that would be nice.
