Can you have companions at character level 1?

Is this only to founders and Guardians of the north?Can you buy a pet from the zen store that starts with your new character /from level 1 the tutorial/?

    No, you have to wait to get to Protectors Enclave and claim your Pet from the appropriate Vendor. You DO get them before everyone else, though.

    You can't access account wide companions until level 4 when you leave the tutorial.

    can someone tell he which are the "account wide" companions i can get at level 4?

    Yes you can. I've done it with my GF. My level 60 TR decided to treat my GF to a cleric before level 15 so, I mailed it to him and he could equip it in the active slot and then he could summon it.

    The green Tiefling cleric is an example of an "account wide" companion.
    Hoping for improvements...

    * Faithful Initiate (requires code from IGN Prime)
    * Panther (requires Hero of the North pack)
    * Vicious Dire Wolf (requires Guardian of Neverwinter pack)

    The upcoming Knight of the Feywild pack will add one more: The Sylph.

    There is also nothing stopping you from buying one of the white 2 gold in game pets. And using it as early as level 4. Waiting till level 16 just gets you a free one. But if you have the gold or zen and are in a rush there is nothing stopping you from getting one early.

    Not at level 1. You can't get to a mailbox to pick anything up until you get to Protector's Enclave, and you can't get to Protector's Enclave until you finish the tutorial, which levels you to level 4.
