Tymora's boxes Astral Diamonds not showing up

Hi,
Just went through a dungeon and got a bunch of Tymora's boxes. I thought that was great. A few were for 10,000 astral diamonds. Fantastic! Except at the end of the quest I have no more astral diamonds then I started with.

Kinda peeved.

    They give Raw AD. Do you have more RAD than before?

    Huh. I had no idea there were 2 kinds. That makes absolutely no sense to me. Anyway, yes they are there. Thanks for your help.
