how to override a sound?

I want to basically disable the sound of the snarling "Heavy Prowler" mount.

I extracted the contents of \Cryptic Studios\Neverwinter\Live\piggs\sound.hogg and set all the "mount" grunt sound files to 0-bytes but the sound is still there. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong.

The file I edited is:
\Cryptic Studios\Neverwinter\Live\piggs\sound\Win32\M_GRUNTS_Mounts.fsb

The override folder seems to be ignored.

    If you figure it out, please share! Everyone I play with hates those obnoxious griefers. It seems they only appeal to the players that like to jump around in circles in PE.
