Increasing Community Debugging

Just something that crossed my mind, that it could improve the debugging process if players were able to redo quests they did before, e.g. I recall in an early quest where you go to some vaults in protector's enclave to fight nashers trying to get the neverwinter crown, I fell through the ground in one spot of the area, to an endless depth. If the suggested function existed, then there is a possibility (even if little) that me or others redo the quest for the purpose of pinpointing the bug.

I know there could be high overhead developing this thing, namely keeping track of completed quests by the character, and preventing any increase of items, experience or whatsoever upon completing the quest, and not causing any achievement bugs or quest journal bugs, and the (usually) nonexistence of bugs in these areas altogether.

Just putting it out there, in the unlikely case that it's something useful.

Good Idea. I think if more people would pop over to to the test shard and help actually work through changes, so that they can post actual, fact based quantifiable data in regards to changes to the game it would help things a lot. It would certainly be a hell of a lot more productive than all the hot air on the forums.

It's awesome feedback! You're also spot-on with the comments about overhead and exploitability. It's certainly something we can look into going forward, but thankfully character copy can also be used with the proper setup to help make re-testing things a bit easier.
