You know prices in the cash shop are too high when...
... A crazy manic bi-polar person such as myself does not spend RL cash for Zen.
I'm bat crazy.. I have all the Collector's editions for a number of MMO's... Real Beer Steins... you name it... I have it.
But as I went to buy Zen tonight and I pushed the Paypal button... I stopped... thought about the MMO I played before this, (TSW) where things weren't too bad...
I guess my message is pretty clear PW...
A person with Bipolar Disorder is not spending money for zen because your items are over priced.
This is a first for me.. A milestone if you wish!
Lower your prices and I'll buy zen, if not I'll spend it on the next MMO.
BTW, I love the game. Reminds me a bit of Tera but it keeps me interested. Just lower the prices.. Seem's like you should have caught on by now? This is all constructive... remember... I'm crazy!
As a non-crazy person, I agree. The prices do seem a bit high. As much as I'd like to buy some stuff from the store, it's too expensive. Instead of enticing me to spend money; the prices are having an opposite effect. I'm not going to buy anything.
I think it's pretty messed up that you are using a serious mental health issue in such a flippant manner. It certainly shouldn't be used as an excuse for your apparent lack of self control when it comes to games.
I have been (actually, as I don't honestly believe you truly were) diagnosed with bi-polar disorder, but don't see the point in using said diagnosis as a crutch. Your usage of this illness is disgraceful and disrespectful to those of us who have learned to cope with and thrive.
Considering your rather cavalier attitude toward bipolar disorder, and your use of it to put a twist, perhaps intended to be humorous, on yet another price complaint thread, I highly doubt you have the condition.
It's pretty shameful to use a psychological condition, that can and has devastated the lives of many of those that must live it on a continuous basis, in an attempt to cause a reduction in prices for digital items in a game.

“Being crazy isn't enough.”
Parting is all we know of heaven, And all we need of hell.
Prices are at a threshold where you know you could put the time in to earn it and instead take the easy path.
PWI does not care. Until a bean counter says sales are slipping for an item the price will not drop.
So stop caving in and buying over priced **** and the prices will fall. Simple right?
Exactly. No matter what we say, if it turns profit, it's not gonna change any time soon. Not that the situation doesn't suck, but this is a business, and businesses are there to make money.

Is it just mere coincidence that you guys are complete killjoys and have the Hero of the North title?
In any case, you guys are taking the OP way too seriously and making too much of a deal out of a non-issue. Your response borders on narcissism and self-righteousness. If you really cared about people with mental illness, you'd have donated your time and that $200 on helping them instead of spending both on this game and then playing internet savior on its forums. So spare us all your supposed moral high-ground please.

Haha.. What a funny twist on the story.. and yes TSW is bad ***.
TSW is awesome. It just needs more content. Those issues don't last long enough. The customer service there is great though. And, the story, and combat.
Price for character slots - dirt cheap. Price for bags and mounts - outrageous by the standards of any other MMO I've played and that isn't a trivial number.
