Instant kill for spawn campers...

Don't know whether it was suggested or not: when PVPers enter an enemy spawn camp, they get instant killed. Bonus if the kill counts towards K/D/A for the camp owners.

Of course, that means camp owners will try to pull enemies into the camp. L2P by avoiding the camp. :)

I'd be okay with this. Spawns should also eject AFKers out of the Spawn area after 15 seconds. Win/win!

    http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?404961-The-real-fix-to-Spawn-Camping-is-to-fix-Spawn-Sitting

This is my post Spawn sitting is the real problem not camping. If there was no sitting in some safe zone there be no camping. To fix this problem after 10-15 secs you are catapulted out to fight this is the best fix for the situation by far. If you are gonna sit in camp don't que. Pretty simple fix to spawn camping right there stop all the spawn sitting. Spawn sitters are the worst kind of players and should get banned from PvP. How about we report them for not coming out into a match they qued for ? Fair is Fair. Stop spawn sitting now!!!

I have about 1min into a match me and my friends left yesterday after a 3 cap no point in staying there. Waste of time. owned that match. and was off fighting again instantly.

I'm sure the Neverwinter Team is hard at work to fix this Problem. Its just a matter of time before this travesty becomes a memory.

The problem isn't spawn camping. People only bother with it out of boredom. The real issue is why not have a 'Surrender' option whereby the opposing team can bow out when outmatched. Sitting around waiting for the points cap is a game killer. Sitting at the fire is the equivalent of Tera players hiding in the water waiting for the match to be over. The reality is people give up if they aren't steam rolling, at least give teams a chance to forfeit (no points, or limited points given) and move on. We're still plagued with Bots with no way to combat them. If you don't leave the match before it starts, you're done.

Bingo... The other team should surrender or fight. There should be no time in a match where there isn't fighting though.

Saw it mentioned already, I'll second or third it. How about you pussies get out of the spawn and fight instead of sitting there to get your measly glory that's left? Should be a penalty for pussies too.

How about instead anyone who stays in there own spawn for more than 60 seconds gets removed from the match and can't queue for PVP again for 24 hours.

@Benskix2. The problem I see with this is a little thing I like to call life. What if in the middle of a match those chili-cheese fries you opted to get on your way home decide to take a turn for the worse and you get a mad case of the hershey-squirts. There definitely needs to be some changes made but going too drastic could hurt the player base more than help it. There are those of us that live for pvp. We want and deserve positive changes that will make it even more enjoyable to be involved in.

Chili cheese fries are OP. Even if you stack Pepto.

I think anyone that sits in the spawn area should be reported for abuse of the game mechanics.

LOL, well there is an auto-kick for being afk, so they could just make the time limit slightly longer than the afk time limit so it only kicks people who are sitting there on purpose and not those with irritable bowels ;)

Having the res timer kill any opposing team in the campfire radius would be ****ing hilarious.

I was in a GG game earlier, and yes there was spawn camping going on but there was also a huge amount of people afk at the fire. It's like blood in the water.

Actual participation doesn't give any rewards in GG so I'm not surprised.

http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?404961-The-real-fix-to-Spawn-Camping-is-to-fix-Spawn-Sitting If there was no sitting in some safe zone there be no camping./QUOTE]

This makes absolutely no sense. If someone is sitting in their spawn and they refuse to come out why would you and your entire team camp their spawn? Is it to entice them to jump off the ledge and try to take on all 5 of you by themselves? I have ended up in this situation on a few occasions and I am not going to just jump down so you can kill me over and over without me having a chance to defend myself. That would just be <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>. You are creating the problem you wish to avoid. If I was able to get out without being insta-killed I would come down and try to cap or find a one on one fight, but that is never the case. As soon as others quit and there are only one or two left on a team all 5 players from the other team push for the spawn point. Your camping creates spawn sitting. I keep on fighting no matter how badly it is going until that moment when I spawn and the other team is just standing there waiting for me. It always happens when the teams become very unbalanced because the team with more players goes to the other team's spawn.

The real fix is as soon as someone quits someone else should join. Then you wouldn't have 5 on 1 as long as there is someone queued for PVP. I may still be a slaughter but at least it is a slightly more even fight.

That might seem good but when you down to 3v5 and they are just sitting there waiting for you - what should you do - constant death - and it is bizarre we could not attack them from the spawn but 2 rouges got in and just sliced and diced us - and escapee was just hunted down by the other 3. it is bad because if 2 low a score you get no Glory.

Also to answer some others here; 15 seconds and catapult remarks etc... If it happened everyone would just quit - no glory for anyone - how about that for a joke.

Bring back that we can attack from the spawn or we can not escape.

Maybe have 2 or more exits would be good.
