DC changes in coming patch-re: Healing action and HoTs

Feat – Healing Action: Now can also affects Heal over time effects.

does this mean astral shield will be affected?

been testing on HoTs and doesnt seem to work or gain AP per tic. So what do the devs mean ?

    I think it means that the cleric was so broken that healing action only affected the very first tic.

    Does anyone even use healing action? It seems like 5% isn't much when you got AS and SB giving you huge chunks.

    any increase in AP regen is always good for a cleric :) this might mean i can keep Divine armor up more often , my least time for keeping divine armor is every 16secs

    I keep 2 spare points in it because I become nauseous at the thought of putting more than one point into Cleanse and the remaining feats like,

    Initiate of the Faith (proven no measurable benefit)
    Domain Synergy (proven miniscule benefit)
    Battlewise (useless with threat fix, no impact on aggro and can be counterproductive if needed to kite)
    Templar's Domain (a reasonable feat for dps cleric only. Turned into complete uselessness due to high internal cooldown)

    are all garbage.

    It is one feat I have no idea if it actually works. But the thought of more AP from doing my job is nice.

    also what do they consider as HoTs?
    1) Astral Shield is supposed to be an HoT now so is it gonna gain AP per tick
    2) HW - both Divine and normal are considered?
    3) what about passive heals like invigorated is that considered as hoT


    Now will AP gain proc per tic of HoT?
