Ray of Frost bypasses Guard? I ask because I was guarding against a CW who was using it against me and then I was frozen. They did it several times. I thought Guard blocked Ray of Frost?

    Blocks the damage not the freeze stacks.

    I've noticed. This is killer for Guardian Fighters from what I've seen. Freeze them, then hit them with ray of enfeeblement and then lift them and then finally wale on them.

    Well at least one class can try to counter us before we can three shot them. Them being able to freeze us doesn't stop us from ripping their faces off in PvP to be honest lol

    A good CW can perma CC a GF with Ray of Frost and Repel.

    The easiest way to prevent this is try to attack with your back to a wall so you can quickly charge back in, otherwise Repel's huge range can remove your mobility options down to zero, especially without Lunging Strike.

    Without lunging strike? I didnt know there was a "without lunging strike", its almost like a rogue without stealth :p

    A well timed repel can even knock a lunging gf back. Some skillful mages got the timing just right and can bounce you back.
