When creating a maze, is there a way to hide the pathways on the minimap?

    Yep a couple ways

    1. Place fade to black layers above the maze, make sure they are raised to the fade is just beyond reach of the ceiling.
    2. Place objects such as floor tiles higher than the maze wall, things such as rectangular objects work best, but anything CAN work.

Also keep in mind most people tend to not enjoy mazes. I have a maze in my second quest (in sig) and I used an NPC that spawns 'breadcrumbs' for those who can't handle a bit of exploration. THat way people who want to explore it can and those who don't want to explore it can just finish the maze.

Also, if you set the Fade to Black layers to "visible when : never", they will still be black on the minimap but the player wont see them in the 3D view.

My appologies, I was talking about the "depthfade black," I use it in all my indoor maps, the depthfade works great for masking off areas on the minimap.

I used teleporters to prevent people trying to find their way through my maze by looking at the minimap. it made things sooo much easier for people to get lost. Which was the idea. if you want to see what i mean check out NW-DS23E52AT
