Optimal TR Stone items/Runes?

I think the stone is a decent companion for a TR, just wondering what are the optimal items and runes to slot into it.
Do I focus on hitting the armor pen and crit cap on myself (capped without the companion) and focus on just pure power on the companion? (so that the crit and armor pen caps are fixed even when in pvp) or do I use the pet to help attain the armor pen and crit cap so I can focus on pure power on myself?

I don't play competitive pvp, and only do it for the dailies. (domi and gaunt)
I mostly enjoy the pve content, tbh. And would rather delve than pvp if given the choice.

The stat pets can't be used in PvP anyway, so no need to worry about that.

It all depends on what your gear combo needs the most. You fill out your lacking stats with the stat pets. I personally went with a lot of Armor Pen on my Allure Stone because Swashbuckling and Ancient weapon set has 0 Armor Pen. Mixed it with some Power, Recovery, and Crit jewelry.

    Thanks. :)
What about specific items? What's the best / optimal necklace, rings, and icon for the floating rock?

I myself have 4 stats in my stone right now, those being: power, arpen, crit, and recovery. I have a pyrotechnic band with rank 6 silv slotted in ring, grand fugitive's necklace of revolt with rank 5 dark, and icon of the sacred hand, also with dark slotted. For runestones, I have 3 rank 5 eldritch slotted, and it ends up giving me around +600 in all 4 of those stats. Obviously I have a bit of upgrading to do, but for now, it works perfectly for me.

ArP on Self, Crit/Power on Companion.
R6 Eldritch on Defensive slot (no point upgrading higher, unless you got all other enchants/runestones at r8 or higher on companion).

Ring: Grand/Ancient Slavemaster's Ring of Control
Neck: Grand/Ancient Excorcist Necklace of Blessings
Icon: Ancient Royal Priest's Icon (:D) or Icon of the Miracle Healer

The reason I recommend ArP on self is because it's the best stat in PvP and PvE.
With T2 PVP set, it's possible to hit 20% without companion or high rank enchants.
In Swashbuckling set it's a bit harder.
You might opt for less from gear (minimum I'd go for is 15%, which is ~what other TRs have)

As for Crit vs Power on companion, it depends on how powerful your Vorpal enchant is.
Greater or Perfect makes even DRd crit rating very good.

About the stone. What is the best way to level a stone? I just picked one up and have been finishing out the questlines in Whispering Caverns and it's going pretty decent but is there a better way?

Turning in quests with the companion out is the best. However, if you don't have any quests left or only have a few, companions also get exp from invocation and leadership turn ins.

    Do high level areas again.

Other people can share you quests you've already completed.
