Question about *recommended* Gear

Is it me, or does the game sometimes recommend the worse of two items just because one is blue and one is green? I've noticed this a few times and was wondering...

    it absolutely does that, items that are green that have higher stats than the blue in the same exact things are typically listed as being worse than the lower level blue counter part

    Alright, thanks for clearing that up for me. I am wearing a level 28 chest piece that's blue and I looted a green level 44, enchanted it and all the stats are better but it still says the blue is recommended, lol! Ok, time to take another look at gear!!

    it seems to go by the sell price, the more expensive one is always the "recommended" gear (in my experience)
