I've come across a couple Foundries with iffy content, that seem to have deliberately removed/hidden the End-of-Foundry chest so that you can't finish the quest, and are thus incapable of leaving a review.
I suppose you could send in a ticket.
Be sure to have read the quest description however, as I know some authors hide the end-chest because they consider their quest is in beta and only publish to get playtests.
That is, they do not want registered plays or reviews until they consider themselves done with the beta testing.

Yeah, I know some people have removed it because they just made an RP area, or it's still in progress, but there are some where it's blatantly removed to prevent the possibility of review/reporting.

Is there any other way to report Foundries?
Yeah I ran one the other day where the chest was buried in the middle of a wall. Why can't we have a sticky of unfinish-able quests? I don't see that as naming and shaming if we keep it purely informational.

Or better yet...give the player the option to skip the final chest. Most of the time I don't want that garbage anyway, LOL. And after all, the quest is finished, the chest is just a bonus.

I ran across a foundry where a player was quizzed after the final encounter by an NPC. The quiz had to do with dialogue from other NPCs throughout the quest. If you failed the quiz, the final chest was walled off for the player. Kind of annoying, after 30 minutes of playing the quest, I failed the quiz because I skimmed the dialogue, but it is somewhat of a clever trick for authors who really want to emphasize their story. I can't remember the name of the quest, this was a couple weeks back. I didn't think much of it when I could not complete it. I play a lot of "For Review" so you kind of get use to not being able to finish quests

The review dialog pops up when you abandon the quest from your journal. I agree that it's bad form to just outright deny the ending chest, regardless if you want the player to read your story or whatever. The author is only going to get bad reviews that way.

This is the WORST way I've seen to convey the story to a player, or to get the player to read the thing. It would be better to integerate the story within the quest so the player won't know where to go next unless they actually read the story first. For instance, the story tells the player (in detail) how to get to the door to the next part of the quest. If the player just skims through they could end up in a maze going in circles and not be aware of the secret door to the next level...

I'm new to the forums and can't post a thread to ask this question, but it sort of (mostly) fits here. I published a quest about an hour before the most recent foundry shutdown. I figured the reason I never saw it show up had to do with the foundry being down, so when the foundry came back up I withdrew and republished the quest. This was about two days ago. I have no idea how long it's supposed to take, but the quest itself didn't seem very extensive; it only had 4 maps, one of those being the tiny inside of a house. While idly checking the "For Review" section again, I noticed there were exactly 50 quests to be reviewed. That seemed too exact to be coincidence. Is there a limit to how many can be up at one time? Have I missed some rule somewhere? This is frustrating because many of the quests stuck in "For Review" can't be finished because of these hidden chests, either for RP or other reasons, and so even my attempts to bump them out and make room for new quests were thwarted. Anyone have any ideas about this?

Heh, no they won't. You can't review when you abandon. That window does nothing.

ooooh, i thought the code thing was something of a foundry feature. like checking a box and it does it on it's own. >.<

I think more story missions should be like that.

"For Review" searches now have a limit of returned results in a single search.
