So far I've been told to PvP until I get a pvp set and then start doing dungeons. Is this were I should start??? I'm assuming start farming astral diamonds as well with dailies is a given. Is there anything else I should be doing or have I been told wrong???

On top of what you've been told:
Find a few friends to make a balanced group to do the epic dungeons & or join a guild to do Gauntlgrym,
most random groups wont allow you into the epics until you do not need to do them!

Daily quests, and Leadership too, to raise the bank balance.

pvp gear is cool yea you dont even have to pvp just buy it with gold or you should have enough AD from doing dailies as youve leveled to get a full t1 (or half-half) set which might end up being better for your certain class. then spam more epic dungeon queues with guild or pugs and do that until you roll a new character and repeat all that :D

My epeen is small as of right now :(. Time to start gear grinding!

On a side note, Where the heck do I find which dungeons I need to farm to get certain pieces of gear?

what me and many others do when we hit lvl 60 is:

    1) browse Forums for funny posts

    2) complain about prices on forums

    3) complain about professions on forums

    D) hate on the number between 3 and 5... you KNOW who you are, and YOU ARE DEAD TO ME!!!

    5) complain about players complaining on forums

    6) random rage and complaining on forums

    7) ?

The Cloak Tower and Throne of Idris are the first Epic Dungeons that are not hard. You can do fast runs of Cloak Tower fairly easily. Also do some Foundry Quests to get enchants and the daily PVP.

    7) Troll the zone chat. I like shift-clicking the Angel of Protection and posting a WTS.

PvP set is still pretty easy to obtain and so are T1 accs, with those 2 you'll be around 9kgs. They are also very cheap to buy and have dropped quite a bit and slowly continue to.
