Does Dazing Strike overlap Dazes?

Not sure if this question was posted before, the search feature of the forums is a bit wonky when I search for Dazing Strike. (a billion threads pop up)
So I figured I'd just join the billion threads and ask in a new thread...

Would it be possible to overlap the daze just before the previous daze duration runs out, effectively daze-locking a monster? If (by some freak coincidence) you were able to lower the CD of Dazing Strike to overlap the daze duration, would you be able to daze-lock a single monster indefinitely?

In a more realistic example, would it be possible for two rogues to use dazing strike in such a way that the monster in question would never be able to get out of the daze status?

    yes, it would be possible, though its pretty impossible to get the cooldown low enough for it to work

    Yes, and this works on other players in PvP also.
    The right to command is earned through duty, the privilege of rank is service.

    And this is a reason that makes me wonder why people say diminishing returns are not needed in the game.

    This tactic is generally only an issue in two cases. The first is when you're facing a pre-made team and they coordinate to lock someone down. The second is when you're dealing with people who aren't coordinating as a team and they focus on the same targets to the exclusion of others. In the latter case, it's fairly easy to deal with - but isn't fun when you're the one being locked down. In the former case you need to be working well with your team of they're going to eat you for lunch anyway.
