You know, its not really a biggie, but every time i look at the clock under the minimap it shows a 12 hour AM\PM clock, not that i cant figure it out and not im trying to force anyone to change it, just cause im used to a 24 hour clock and have grown up with it, every time i look at that clock i wich i could change it.... are there any plans to give us an option between a 12 and 24 hour clock under the minimap?

thanks :)

I can figure it out but I'd also like a 24h clock. I don't get why the USA are still using so many outdated formats...

I've been raised using the 24 hr format, and using 24 in the military and I HATE the 24 hrs format. Whenever I can I switch to AM/PM. I truly can't stand the 24 hrs format.

I'm all for giving players choice though. If they can afford to spend a little time to allow a toggle switch, I'm all for it, as long as they don't get rid of the AM/PM format.

Really? It was explained to me once, when I was about eight or so, and it made perfect sense. It's not exactly a challenging transform to do in your head :)

I'm in the U.S. and would love a 24hr option. That's all I use at work so i'm used to it.

Soulwarrior78 never said they couldn't figure out. Just that didn't like it. Rather large difference between understanding something and preferring something.

I was in the Army and understand the 24 hour clock, but that doesn't mean I have to prefer using that format.

It's not just the USA, it's other countries too. I prefer a 24 hour clock, just like I prefer metric and Celsius. But for those of us who are American, British, etc., we still have to keep on using English measurements for those who aren't used to International standards.

I'm in the US and wouldn't mind a 24 hr clock. For one thing, there is never any confusion about whether it's 12AM or 12PM, and it saves characters so it can be displayed just as clearly, but in less space.

It'd also be nice if hovering your mouse over the clock would show you your time as well as server time, (over at CO it does this, and people will announce events using server time, so it's universal).

I await the day when the missing 12/24 hour format for the clock in the UI options is the biggest problem the game has.

That being said, the point is actually valid.

    Woah...

As far as I can tell nobody has said options are bad.

Let's leave the bickering about which is better out of this discussion from this point forward because at the end of the day that's trivial, subjective and frankly off topic.

If you feel the option should or should not exist in the game then feel free to say so but leave the debates about what other countries should or should not do out of it. :D

Low priority fix, but I have no objection. You have my vote.

Let's give this a bit of a bump since the thread received some hefty pruning.

Options are good. I wouldn't touch a 24 Hour Clock with a 10' Pole but there's no reason others shouldn't be given the option to change to it.
