So I just noticed that you get points for completing an achievement but can't find any use of it. What can you do with those points?

Yeah..they are worthless....which is a shame. Several other MMOs take achievement points and add value to them. DCUO uses achievements (feats) to award more skill points, which is considered a critical point of post-level-cap advancement. Even SWTOR awards some market currency (Cartel Coins...the equivalent of Zen) for some of the possible achievements.

I'd really appreciate these more - and actively try to get them - if they added value in-game. But they don't....so I ignore them....just like you should.

There for #winning and becoming more awesome.

I often wish I was even more awesome than I already am. So I turned that **** up to 11 (out of a possible 5), it took about 2600 achievement points.

Even STO does similar. Achievements can pay off with a minor damage bonus or resistance buff. Take 1,000,000 points in Disruptor damage, get a permanent 1% resistance to it.
