Hail all GF's. I can't decide myself about which armor enchant to use.. so figured I'd ask around on the forum see what ppl 's opinions are before wasting way too much AD :)

Which armor enchant would be the best (assuming atleast Greater/Perfect quality)

1. For PvP
2. For PvE
3. Allround

Soulforged, Negation, Thunderhead... or perhaps something I've entirely overlooked. Opinions valued, and please elaborate on *why* it would be better. /discuss

    1. PvP - Tenebrous offense, Radiant - Defense
    2. Pve - Probably Tenebrous offense but people also use Radiant, Radiant - Defense
    3. Allround - Tenebrous offense, Radiant - Defense

Utility slot for any build - Dark
Armor slot for any build - Soulforged
Weapon slot for any build - Plaguefire

Basically all the builds are the same at the moment since DPS Tank > any other type of tank for T2 content. With stalwarts set, stacking HP yields power returns as well (also need HP for survivability). The only real issue is whether you can afford the Tenebrous or not. If you can, then go greater Tens in all offense slots and call it good. Basically mix and match Tens with Radiants till you can afford it. If you can't afford a Greater Tenebrous, then just use Radiant in the slot till you can.

As to why? Um best in slot.../end discussion.

    Keep telling yourself that.

I'll be busy buffing my entire team with Knight's Valor and never dropping below 50%, while you have a higher chance of dying without it.

Enjoy your bugged buff that doesn't work properly and hasn't since launch. But that doesn't have anything to do with enchants which is the topic actually. Thanks for derailing it.

(Which has me thinking, all this time you have believed that your "leet buff" that is acknowledged as not working as intended was saving your party. While you have been "blissfully" unaware that your buff isn't doing squat, other tanks have actually been contributing. That's kinda the problem with tanks overall. You can never really compare yourself to another tank because there is only one of you in the instance. If your a cleric that can't keep people up, you know something is wrong. If you are a TR that got beat in damage, you know something is wrong. If you are a CW, well.... if you are a CW you will know you are doing something wrong when everyone yells at you to throw those mobs off the cliff. But as a tank.... you will take the most damage every time regardless how you performed, you will never be top damage, you will never be top heals, and someones tank companion will be grabbing aggro from you. You will never really know if you are good, or you suck.)

PvP for armor the safe bet is Soulforge but it's not the only choice.

A 5 man all using Thunderhead is pretty broken.

And Ive yet to find clarification on Negation mitigation working for Guard but if it does it's a good choice as well since often when a GF is in trouble is when Guard is broken. Soulforge buys you seconds but doesn't help with CC, Negation could prevent CC and will obv proc more often sometimes saving you the same amount of dmg taken as well.

Make a lesser and test it in Gunba's foundry of trapped ogres on a ledge.

Umm PVE Tene is NOT BiS... Its actually REALLY horrible PVE damage... At BEST case your a GWF with 36k HP with 7 tene... So your damage is 7560. Thats cool, but the CD is 20 seconds making that 378 DPS... You do the math on if its BiS or not...

As to PVP yes its BIS. but for PVE it is NOT...
