First off this is Cryptics fault for not adding some PVP Gear requirements , if you have 5000 gearscore trying to PVP with level 60's yeah I'm leaving i'm not wasting my time , get hardly no glory , its boring and doesn't help us improve at pvping... There should be a gearscore requirement or different level 60 ques for each set of gear scores so I don't get matched with scrubs.... Ain't no body got time for 5000 gearscore....

So funny how often this gets mentioned yet you fail to actually realize that? Not only that but you fail to see the major problem with it. Is that it can be manipulated. Take some gear off, que, the server ques you into a lower bracket and then you replace your gear and enter the match. Now you can own anyone in the match because of the better gear.

Instead of complaining about complainers, you could have just proposed a bracket system for pvp at level 60. Which, is a great idea.

Good point, there would have to be more than a single check. Maybe not allow gear changes while in the pvp instance. Since buffs change gear score (lame) then simply monitoring GS would not be enough as it would be changing around constantly depending on who's pumping out what bonuses to your team.

Well you nailed it in the first line...
They are angry because players shouldn't feel leaving a match is worthwhile in any game which permits PvP.
And Players shouldn't be matched without consideration to Gear Score.
And pugs shouldn't go against pre-made teams and vice versa.
Those are three basic things which should be in the PvP Systems but aren't.
Yes they're going to complain because these things should be there to some extent and they are not.
I don't leave any PvP Match I start and I do not have any kind feelings towards people who do (honestly the people who leave are often the outright bad PvP'ers anyway) but those people will act the way act do until Cryptic fixes some key issues in Matchmaking and Leaving Penalties.

I have one of the best PVP Guilds in Neverwinter on Mindflayer i stay about 5 seconds check gearscore before starting and if theres any 5000's with greens I'm gone.....

I'm saying you could do it before you enter the match. You take gear off. Queue yourself and wait for it to pop but before you accept it, then you put the gear back on and then you accept.

Sounds like a personal problem.

So in reality you're sifting your matches looking for easy ones... since obviously you aren't screening enemy players if they also all have good GS.
And brackets can't be matched on GS (exploitable, different classes GS can't really be compared)... use actual rankings with ladders and match players based on their position on ladder.

At least at that point I'll still get a warm body to fight with.
The bigger complaint people have is when the match goes on for a minute and then some guy decides to leave after he realizes the enemy is a pre-made, high GS or what-not. The best is when they run off on some weird direction and their own actions cause the enemy team to do better than they should and then leave because the team starts losing.
That's an automatic loss and quite honestly that's not fair to either team. If you leave before the match starts, fine, but once that match starts I expect you to be there win or lose.
But even then, as I said, the fact GS isn't considered in matchmaking is a problem. Sure I love the occassional stomping I dish out but I'd rather have a challenging match any day. Players calling Cryptic out for that aren't "complaining" they are pointing out a major issue in the game which needs to be fixed rather than simply raising their GS through the roof and leaving when they see a 5K GS player on their side.

I am in a pvp guild on Dragon and now I get fed up of being part of a premade unless it is vs another premade. (We have even resorted to fighting ourselves to get decent matches)
Its bad enough being in a team where everyone leaves and its just you vs 5 people when in a pug
But being in a team where the people you are against quit, it's just bs, that's the one reason why I am mainly now pvp'ing myself. as soon as people see a premade 9/10 they quit, i prefer to stay and make sure i prove a point.
In any match where the enemy has had players quit and there is just 1/2 of them left, I am telling people to get 500 points, and actively getting those to cap and not let them get killed if people stay and don't quit.
There should be every reason people who leave pvp matches would be punished hard, yes people get dc'ed and they would suffer if they came back in, but that applies to me also.
As for not staying if your team is geared, that's just from wannabe elitist's and is HAMSTER.
When I first started out I did the same thing, now I realise if my team is god awful then I am most probably going to get a hard match, but at least I know the enemy won't quit.
I join pvp to pvp and all I like doing is pvp'ing and the more I pvp, the better I get.
There should defo be a separate sign up for premades, and they should have rankings for the premades, that way people will want to sign up as a premade.
Otherwise queuing as a premade you might end up sitting there for ages if no others are wanting to fight.
Justification of being part of the problem. I see alot of it on these boards, including but not limited to PVP discussions. Many of these issues are the fault of game mechanics that are not well thought out before implementation, but that only goes so far. Alot of the grief is caused by the community itself, directed at other members of the community due to not playing their way.

Hence why people complain people are leaving.

I'm 16k GF, 12k TR, 11k CW. I have time for 5000 gearscore. Just saying.
And you are???
