Does Charisma ability score's companion stats bonus adds to only the companion like ion stone or cat exclusively
or does it add to companion which inturn gives stats back to the owner?

It seems to be bugged and not work at all.
I currently get: +944 ArP from Augmentation Buff.
On companion screen it shows 874 (and that's exactly sum of the ArP on items+runestones I have on the companion).
I have r6 dark in defence slot:
874 +8% = 943,92 = ~944 since game rounds up.
Or maybe it only works with non-stat companions.

yes i thought so too
i have 21 points in charisma, but i forgot to check before & after effect on my stone. Now i'm not sure if charisma is giving me the companion stat bonus in the way eldritch enchantment adds to companion..
could anyone be kind enough to test this out? if anyone is abt to respec their character and recording stats before & after putting just 1 charisma point should justify it

Check stats from without campfire buff (+1 all stats) and with.
If charisma works, you would see extra stats from the augmentation with campfire buff.

Thinking you are on to something.. maybe it only works along side an Eldritch Rune's bonus. And/or maybe the bonus is capped at 100%, which comes with Cats and Stones by default. Which would mean lots of people spent points on Charisma that they might better have spent elsewhere.
Wish I knew. I want to respec, but I am afraid to.. almost seems like I need to confirm every single functionality individually before making any decision at all.. or risk wasting the effort. I saved up for my stone. I'd like to get the most out of it.

I can't see any benefit to companion stats with or without campfire buff.
With no stat bonus, and the combat advantage damage bonus being minimal, I think CHA is worse than INT atm.

Also, why combat advantage damage bonus is minimal? isn't a +1% of total damage like STR (of course active only when in combat advance)?
