Just started to get this now whenever I try and load up a foundry quest, only happens when im trying to change instance into the quest.
Stops on the loading screen then I get : Dynamic Patch Failure, Connection Idle to long
After that I can log into my characters again but have to do it in safe mode.
If anyone can shed some light onto this it would be appreciated.
Only started happening today and no its not as the failure says my connection at all..
Apparently, the foundry server crashed on Dragon shard. I also get the message "GS shutting down before getting to ready state" if it's not the "Dynamic Patch Failure".
KK thanks for the response people, apart from it meaning we all have a problem its always good to know its not just you:)
Probably as someone said there was a foundry crash and were seeing the fallout of it, i'll keep you updated on if I can get in or if it keeps happening..

:lol I love getting errors for code I supposedly turned off (Dynamic Patching - or "how to crash and lose your party & place in the queue")
I am experiencing this bug right now as well.
I have tried several different foundry quests, all of which I know to have worked previously.

Problem is on the Mind Flayer Shard as well, seems as if something got changed cause all foundry quest connections to fail. So much for the foundry part of the AD events *shrug*
The client crashes when attempting to leave "Proctor's Enclave" to travel to any foundry quest. I have been able to repeat this crash with quests with different authors.
I was able to solve this issue by disabling Dynamic Patching, downloaded the full server files and then running a forced verification. Restarting the patching program a third time with re-enabled dynamic patching allowed me to enter into a foundry quest.
I do not know if these steps actually corrected the situation, of if in the time spent doing them the situation was corrected server side. Best of luck folks

I am also experiencing this.
I already tried abandoning a quest and restarting it, as well as picking up a different one altogether.
It would seem the gerbils powering the Foundry map servers have had a heat stroke. :P
