Please, some dev just tell me yes. Even if its just something like a 10 man...
These 5 man Dungeons are too easy. GG Was a Lie, made us think it was a raid, then try to convince us that the pvp is 20v20, when it's clearly Cluster**** v Cluster****.
This dungeon NEEDS to be a raid, I (we) need a challenge. I need something that takes 2 weeks to a month before a guild takes first boss down. And please, dear god, make the gear BoP.
Stop with all this roleplay stuff, and actually give your game some staying power...
If not, I don't know what to do... I love the gameplay and style, but I need a challenge... Without raids, I see nothing keeping me from leaving the game once Wildstar is released.
I'd like to see a new challenge that involves creativity and strategy rather than endless waves of monsters. Being able to do it with a party of 10 or more would be great, particularly if you need larger numbers of people for practical roles as opposed to simply needing more damage for more monsters.
The right to command is earned through duty, the privilege of rank is service.

For years, people have been complaining about how it takes too long to level, how hard Epic loot is to get, why do they have to raid to get loot, why do they have to group to do dungeons? why is craft too hard?
Each time, the game developers have bowed to those requests and diluted the market to the point where it seems we're at the tipping point where everything has gotten too easy, too simplified. I'm hoping a developer grows some b*lls (maybe Widlstar with bringing back 40-man raids, or Everquest Next bringing back death penalties / factions etc.) otherwise I can see this genre being to slip away to nothing.
I agree it's a balancing act in keeping hard-core, casuals, pvp and pve in check, but someone has to at least try. Unfortunately, in our instant-gratification society with people expecting rewards without the effort, I'm not sure how successful it would be.
I'm not sure that the current state of the engine and infrastructure in NW suits raids well, personally. It seems to scale badly during GG, both clientside, and also network/serverwise (lots of complaints of rubberbanding). You just need a bunch of control wizards to throw down "that frozen sh*t" with that many players on-screen, and things get crunchy. Throw in some raid-sized trashpacks, and it's going to hurt.
It's probably just as well that there's no raid-scale stuff right now.
RIft I would have to say did just what kimberix stated... they have 20 man raids or, you could do 10 man zones for loot... then there are the zone wide events all day.... not that Rift was the cats meow mind you, but it did have good balance aimed at the casual, vs the hard core. But that being said, even that game had alot of drawbacks. I agree, some 20 man/10 man raid zones would be an improvement to this game .....and fix the stupid que system... good grief how hard is it to simply add a class request to the que... again RIft had that.

Have a look at the article by Mark Kern on MMOSite, he was one of the lead developers on WoW, and currently the boss over at Red 5 Studios, he has an interesting take on what went wrong with the genre, and who should be blamed

make it a raid, yes that's a good idea. Make it something it takes 8-10 folks a week to progress. Give us lockouts so we can make progress during the week....yes all of these things ARE good things...they are proper end game concepts that have proven to be sustainable. Not everyone likes this sort of thing but enough do and proper raiding should be a part of this game..
now if you do this, which you should, MAKE SURE all the loot is BOP....because as is the fact that everything in this game that's worth anything is BOE makes everything in this game worth nothing at all.
It drops T2 I would say it going to be on par with Pirate, Karru, Spellplague. Id like to see it longer like CN but I doubt. As far as raids go there is hint of possible raids in the future.

Also, players can complete solo instances and the five-man Malabog Castle to speed up progression within the Campaign System.

Why cryptic... why? At least give me that, tell me why you haven't implemented raids...
