What's the real Fee in AH?

This is the information in AH When you post a iten
Starting Bid: 790000
Buyout Price: 800000

Duration:
5 Day's
Posting Fee:
15800
Trade House Cut:
10% (~ 80000)

It is clear that the percentage of sales is 10%, which in this case would be 80,000.
But look at what information last email. 100,000 was charged to sales tax. Something's wrong. Anyone know what it is? Am I wrong?

You have sold 1 Mithral Swivel Knife on the auction house to HAMSTER for 800000 Astral Diamonds. The net income after fees is 700000 Astral Diamonds, plus a refund of the initial posting fee of 15800 Astral Diamonds

The fee does spring up to 12.5% when the size of the sale gets to a certain point. Not sure where that is, but I know I have seen it on some of my sales.

You have to double check it says 10% when you put the item up, which only happens when you properly visit the actual AH. If you do it remotely it charges 12.5%, sometimes when you stand next to the AH it can still charge 12.5% too after it comes up with an error or if you open a different activity window while talking to him.

That happens when you do it remotely through the the auction broker as opposed to going to the auctioneers in the enclave.

OK but all agree that this is wrong? Should be informed of the actual value fee. This needs to be fixed right?

That is the question, using the remote AH he does not inform 12.5% but the 10%, because otherwise I would not even be questioning. This is the type of information that should be explicit and correct.

No, using remote AH DOES tell you 12.5%. It IS explicit and correct. In fact, the "12.5%" appears in a different color than the 10%.

So now you are standing at the AH...not sure what that image is supposed to prove.

yeah when standing at ah it shows 10%, when not standing at ah or having opened another action window which then forces the ah to become remote it shows 12.5%...doesn't matter what it shows you now it matters what it shows you at the time you press the post item button.

Working as intended. Always post auctions at the actual auctioneers.
