This video was taken at 9:05 PM PST on the Dragon shard, at Fort Precipice in The Chasm.
If these people aren't BOTs, they chose not to respond to my questions, both before, during and after the video. I have no proof that they are, but the video speaks for itself - it looks very suspicious and silly.
I didn't think to get the 'instance' number when I was in game. I'm going to log back in and see if I can find them again and post the instance number.
<Link redacted. Naming and shaming is not allowed.>
I posted this because I hate bots, with a passion (especially bots in PVP). I wish Neverwinter was making faster progress at eliminating them.
79 minutes remaining on the video upload. Curse you youtube!
I believe it was instance #1 - when I logged back in I recognized Mandarius still at the Fort.
This game is missing a lot of things. Bots issues should be fixed first and the Cryptic cant do it really fast. The only choice is to report any bots and those accounts should be perma ban.
They are all clearly running the same BOT. The author needs to patch that quick. :P
LOL. I'd rather they not. When the bots are that obvious you'd think it'd be easier for cryptic to learn how to counter it. They'll probably pull the link from your post soon though. You can see the names and they have the whole "naming and shaming" thing.
It is not my intention to shame anyone - if anything, they did it to themselves. I don't understand why you won't let me post video links here - they are not distasteful, but I will abide.
Feel free to PM me for a link to this and future BOT videos.

You have to keep in mind there are two ways to look at every situation. Now I am not saying you are falsely accusing someone of being a bot, but the question is could you? Could you edit a video to make it appear as though a person was a bot, when they actually were not? Is that possible? If you say yes it is possible then what good is video evidence and expecting them to be banned? if you say no, then you would have to be a little naive.
This is one reason why name shaming is against the TOS of the forum. Because you could easily frame someone who is innocent and get a bunch of other players convinced your "evidence" is legit. I know you don't like bots and you really want something done to solve this problem but this is not the method. It will only potentially cause your own problems.

And video editing that many players to make it appear like that many people are all botting at the same time? Not very easy - at least not without noticeable artifacts and tons of misaligned objects in the video (which if you actually know anything about video editing, you could spot - kinda like how Photoshop'ed pictures are easy for many people to spot now).
Possible? With enough footage and decent video editing software, certainly. But hardly worth the editing and production time in the scope that you're talking about. Recording one person instead of a dozen or so simultaneously (such as the video I linked here) would be much more feasible, I'll give you that.
I record a LOT of stuff on video. Very little of it is actually produced AND made public. I really don't have the time to waste trying to make anyone bad, it was not my intention. Most of my videos are kept to Youtube, and the public ones do not contain examples of exploits, hacks or bots.
Video links to hacking and exploits I can understand being removed, as they likely have been in every other game I've played. BOTs on the other hand, are not always removed. I HAVE posted BOT videos in other games and it has brought the players in question under close scrutiny by the GM's. However, I have never seen a player banned, even temporarily, solely based on one of my (or anyone else's) video.
Anyway, it is clear to me now how things are done here on these forums - not only will I abide but I also understand.
P.S. if you want to "guarantee" someone that you're posting an unedited video you can post a video from your live stream on Twitch.

You are still being short sighted. Just because "you" wouldn't or that "you" don't have the time. It doesn't mean someone else wouldn't. The fact that it can be done is enough to discredit any video provided as evidence. So it isn't about what "you" would or wouldn't do but the potential that "you" could.

You guys are overthinking it, even though it can be a false accusation of cheating, to all the people who don't know the details, that person has still been accused of cheating.

And this isn't about what I would or wouldn't do, or what I could or couldn't do. This is about reporting BOT players. Videos and screenshots are well enough evidence to put someone under scrutiny. PWE does accept these screenshots and videos.
To be clear, I don't expect anyone to be banned off of videos (or screenshots for that matter) alone and I would never ask for that. And any respectable gaming company would investigate a report instead of just banning someone. But they ARE typical tools used in reporting players for breaking any number of TOS and EULA offenses. Despite your determination to debate with me on the subject, they have been used since the 1990's and abundantly since the invention of FRAPs - to aid in reporting hacks, exploits, bots, verbal abuse, verbal assault, threats of violence, and many other nasty things, along with many positive and good things!
So, your trying to argue the validity of videos such as mine is moot, in this instance. And frankly, at this point, I don't care to engage in this debate anymore with you because it is rather pointless, especially now that you are clearly set on discrediting me.
You are, of course, welcome to make another thread about the validity of videos and screenshots used in reporting TOS and EULA offenses, and you will likely receive a much more positive reception on that topic should you wish.

The BOTs/players were gone.
I made the video 'unlisted' but anyone with the link can view it.

Or I could have just read this link here: http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?306422-Reporting-Exploits-The-Right-Way&highlight=report+exploits

Do bots count as real players in Cryptic's definition
I guess it all helps with marketing how many 'players' the game has....
