Today is June 30th, I'd like to ask anyone who successfully published a new quest in the last 3-4 days how long it took?
I've been trying since Friday evening (two nights ago). First three attempts failed promptly, within 10 minutes or so. Fourth attempt on Saturday was "Currently Publishing" for at least six hours (I went to sleep eventually) and this morning it had failed.
FIFTH attempt is going on almost 12 hours now...it still says Currently Publishing, so I guess that's progress of a sort. Is there ANY rhyme or reason to the process whatsoever? Or can it take minutes for one quest and days for another? Thanks in advance...and if this is how it always works, I don't know how in the heck anyone puts up with it.
2 days ago it took me about 15 minutes to publish..however i tried to republish 5 hours ago and its still "currently publishing" right now...so I dunno...I'm guessing their servers are bogged down with publish requests and not handling them well or something.
I clicked publish yesterday afternoon and it is still Publishing.
I am beginning to wonder if they will ever get this right. Guess maybe the person was right a while back when he stated we were second class citizens. Heck we don't even get responses from anyone from Cryptic on Foundry problems.

I find it very randomy, works really fast sometimes. Othertimes not so much.
Been trying to publish for a day and a half; in that time I've hit "Pulbish Failed" twice, and have been stuck in publishing for about 20 hours now, still no movement.
I publish yesterday, took 15 mins. However a few of my mobs shifted making the quest un-completable unless you knew where to look, as it knocked the mobs off a ledge. I shifted them and tried to re-publish.... 6 hours and a fail... tried again... on 15 hours now and still "currently publishing".

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Ronin, mind if I ask what the "weekly repeatable" bug is? I just started using the Foundry a couple of weeks ago and had no idea people were having such issues.

The Publishing issues we are having now have cropped up at least once every week since I started using foundry.
That's bizarre. I published an update over 24 hours ago, still says "Currently Publishing" in the Foundry.
Whats even more bizarre, it when I log into foundry, and click on my quest on the left side in the QUEST/CAMPAIGN side, and click my quest, it says: PUBLISH FAILED, but when I click "EDIT" quest, it says: CURRENTLY PUBLISHING... and it has been like that for 2 days... So I think: "Hmm lets duplicate this quest and publish it again" so I click "DUPLICATE" and it says something like this: "Invalid Foundry Request" and I have to relogin!
NOW THATS BIZARRE!

I've been waiting about 21 hours at this point. Would be nice to at least get some kind of response about it.
If it's supposed to take a day or two that's no big deal...but if it's supposed to take minutes then they really need to get this fixed. I'm sure they're counting on a lot of free content generated by the users to keep their game fresh, so you'd think they might prioritize this a bit.

I just got my first one published!!! Attempted at about 1:00 am PST last night. It is not 7:43 PST. You do the math.
Give it a run and let me know what I can do better the next time!!

Well I started this thread, and sometime during the day today (around the 26-hour mark give or take) my publish attempt failed. That's the fifth time. Because I am a HAMSTER I hit the damned "Publish" button again, but I won't even bother checking for a couple of days.
I almost wish they would monetize the Foundry in some way, at least then we might get some attention from the devs. They tout the feature every chance they get, and have been doing so since well before launch, but it's frustratingly broken. If it worked and we knew it worked, I would certainly consider spending some Zen to unlock features, or special NPC's, stuff like that. I'm sure I am not the only one.

Nearly always happens over the weekend too.

Again will we ever hear from someone from Cryptic? Or are we still second class citizens?
Narayan
No. The second class citizens get better treatment than us. We are troglodyte excrement, and don't you forget it.
