What stats do you focus on with your Phoera?

Just sent mine to finish his training to level 30 and was wondering what kind of gear & enchants to set aside for him. Do any of the stats really make a difference? Like if I stack a bunch of +power items & enchants on him, will his aura actually end up doing more damage than it would normally? Basically I got bunch of leftover glory and I was planning to buy the wizard and cleric offhands for the bird just for fun, but if the abilities are barely affected by additional stats I don't think I'll bother.

So yeah, people who have bothered to pimp out their birds, do share your experiments please. Really curious if spending some resources on the bird's gear & enchants is actually worth it at all. :)

As far as I know Recovery, Lifesteal and HP are the best stats that work on companions. Apparently Crit and Power doesn't work (at least on healers).

Just did a bit of testing for you w/ my lvl 30 Phoera.

With no gear and 2 +120 power runestones, my bird has 440 power and 200 arpen.
Talon attack was hitting for a bit above and below 200 per hit.
The AOE feather attack was hitting for +- 700.
The Phoenix heat immolation was hitting for 80-84.

After putting his gear back on, he had 967 power and 408 arpen.
The talon and aoe feather attack appeared to be hitting for roughly the same numbers. (no noticeable difference)
The Phoenix heat, however, was hitting for 82-90 now.

Now, keep in mind that this is me simply watching the numbers that came up as I let it attack the pvp dummy and not from parsing a combat log. There very well could be a damage increase for the attacks, but probably not that you'd care that much about.
I've heard that recovery works on companions, but I'm too lazy to test it myself. If it actually does, then recovery would probably be the best way to increase the dps of the Phoera as it would lower the cooldown on the attacks. I do know for a fact, however, that lifesteal works on them. So another alternative would be to stack a bunch of lifesteal so that they might last more than 12 seconds on a boss fight.
In the end, though, everything but the cat or stone is still pretty much worthless for end game.

    Hope this helps.
