GWF armor penetration feat.

Hey I've noticed since hitting 60 the majority if epic gear I've come across is very recovery heavy. With that said is putting a few points into the armor pen feat worth it? Or continue to drive myself nuts trying to get bith fron gear.
Stats are str24 con20 dex20.
Any input is appreciated.

    Some ppl like it, others don't. I personaly use it, since i have 3k recovery and find it easier to get armor pen capped+i like the effect of gear giving me a bonus stat when it has recovery + i like it when i socket recovery to get a lil armor pen on the side. It's a matter of personal choice.

    I think it comes down to if you want to spend the massive amount of money on dark enchants to get to your cap or not. ATM, I don't have that luxury so the passive feat is very nice.

    Once tricked out the ArmPen feat isn't really worth it overall IMO, but if on a budget? I can definitely see the allure! :)

    I like it. I am currently getting my recovery way over caps because I am really liking having my daily power up all the time I am planning to go over 4k recover maybe to 4.5k depending on how it feels this is well over diminishing returns but as a side benefit I wont need any penetration on any of my gear to hit the cap.

    I personally don't subscribe to that idea, because I believe you are sacrificing too much in other areas: Crit/ArmPen/etc.

    However, if you are enjoying it then rock on! Play the game how you want it, because if your having fun that is all that matters... :)

    Ehhh. It's 750 free arpen on 3k recovery. That's 750 points that can go into any other offensive stat (and probably defensive), or be slotting Tenebrous. Substantially better than most other stat conversion feats. Maybe at max GS Deep Gash is better, but that would be pretty close.
