Chests in Tier 2 Dungeons

Is it just me or are the rewards getting worse?!
I've done around 10 runs in Epic Spellplague (on DD) and I have not received a single cap.
I've been getting rings and necklaces and even got tier 1 items...

Why do tier 1 items still drop in the Dungeon Delve Chests in Tier 2 Dungeons...
And what the hell is the chance on a cap coz I'm not getting any.

I wonder if they use an algorithm of diminishing returns like GW2 does? Did you do those 10 runs back to back or over a period of time? Have you done other content in-between the dungeon runs?

I've done like 2 in a row and then moved on to other things and that for multiple days.
It's just not happening for me. Not just these couple of days though, I hardly get the promised item (open K and see for example Tier 2 Head and Neck) from a DD chest in any dungeon.

Make that 12 runs and still no head item.
Also it seems that IF there's a helm in chest there's only 1 in the entire party.

This feeds into the system that was tested and scratched to bind on pick up and then have a merchant that pays AD for epic equipment. The devs said they scratched the idea because it would make it too hard for players to assemble gear sets. I think the devs understand that players who don't exploit the game are working really hard to get no where, but players that do work all the dungeon cheats are coming out ahead and sticking it to the general player base in the AH.

My take is that it is both cheap and easy to assemble a t1 gear set, but almost impossible by playing, and really really expensive to get a set in AH.

I think the epic merchant was a genius idea, as it would clear out a lot of t1 items in the AH that are decent for t1 but way over supplied. Then put t1 set items in t1 chests, t2 set items in t2 chests. Make all DD chests bind on pick up, and appropriate gear on drops that is bind on equip and can be put in AH. As it stands now, t2 set items are way too rare of a drop. Another thing that could be worked into any loot changes, is to make drake seals able to buy things that are actually worth buying. What if you could use drake seals, bind on equip to buy missing gear from the t2 set, or trade a t2 set item for same quality but from a different set minus a seal or AD fee.
