Hello everyone

I really need some help to increase my Gear Score to be Stronger and more effective 10k GS+

I've got 9103 GS right now and I wonder if I can increase without spending 100k - 1M AD??

Should I replace my rings and amulet by +200 Defense intead of Power and Crit??

    Yes, you can!

Purple belts and rings are routinely farmed in FH speed runs and CN ring runs. Thus, the price there is usually very cheap. Another good source for those are seals.

Just go on the AH and search for each of those slots, I'd say. You will probably find usable purple gear to replace your green rings and belts at about 3 - 10 K each.

Humm my 2 rings have +238 Power and +90 crit each. I thought that having more power will increase my Gear score, but NO. I just dont understand why a +125 power +125 def or +125 recovery is giving more GS than a +238 Power....

    At its simplest.

    238 power + 90 Crit Slotted = 328 overall score

    A purple ring with 125 power, 125 crit, 125 recovery + gem slot = 375+slot
I reject your reality and I substitute my own!

    Really.... as Simple as that?

I thought that Power or Crit will give like double points because those are the Main stats you should focus mainly.

Alright then, Ill look on auction house for more numbers on same items...

Nope, that's the idiocy of the GS system in action - look at the tooltip on your char screen (the one for GS). If you add up all them numbers you will get your GS....

Hah, oh my god, I murdered that CW repeatedly in PvP yesterday. Apologies, you seem like a perfectly nice person :)

Oh god, change your shirt and pants, too! I've met so many people who were like "Erm, just short of X gs" and then you inspect them, and they have on low level shirts and pants. You'll probably get another 400-500 points by changing to at least blues. If you can find the level 40ish ones with a gem slot, even better.

But I looked for shirts and pants in the AH and they were 6 figure AD costs on them!

Yes, I found i could get much better GS by just getting a Green Shirt/Pants and spending the extra AD on items.enchants....

Look for those without enchant slots, they are a lot cheaper. Or just level tailoring and make them yourself.
