So I just read about this: http://nw.perfectworld.com/news/?p=925171

Seriously...

Potion of Rejuvenation x10
Tidespan Potion x10
Potion of Lesser Healing x10
Portable Altar x5
Identify Scrolls (bound) x5

All of those except identify scrolls are just taking space from the inventory. Why even bother redeeming a free code to get even more HAMSTER to the already full inventory? I mean come on... Lesser Healing potions? No-one over 15 lvl uses them. I got almost 100 portable altars because they drop all the time from enemies.

I know I'm complaining about something which is free but to me it would just make my situation worse in the game. The sentence "How amazing would it be to get epic loot for free?" got me excited, maybe even one free purple loot? But no... They give us Lesser Health potions and portable altars...

I'd like to know if there is someone on the forums (over lvl 15 in game) who is happy about this Lord of Waterdeep pack.

"How amazing would it be to get epic loot for free?"

It sure would be amazing. Ten potions of lesser healing for $6,95 a month (first link, the IGN one) is not what I would consider epic loot for free, though.
English is not my first language.

Yeah your either excluding or just forgetting the most important part of that $6.95 deal..
A Green/Uncommon Cleric companion that unlocks for all your current and future characters, if you cant see thats a great deal compared to the zen store than i cant help you..

As for what you get for free from the other offers.. see my first post..

I'm sorry, I don't intend to flame or anything, I just don't understand the attitude that makes someone think that its ok to complain when they get something free (or in the case of IGN giveaway reduced price). We didn't have to pay for the other stuff... If it bugs people, why not just avoid redeeming the codes?

It doesn't matter because every single one is already expired. It's actually really funny that they bothered posting a news item about it since the majority of players wont' have the opportunity to make use of it. Cryptic makes great games, but whoever manages their marketing and sales functions get things very wrong sometimes. (I've been doing online marketing for 12 years, so I'm not just talking about my backside...)

All the items are trash. The titles are the only thing 'worth-while' but even then imo there are better ones to use.

Simple answer: Don't spend the money if you don't like what you're getting. It'll save you having to complain on the internet about it.

Actually, we were HEAVILY cheated by NW. They offered a pack to IGN PRIME Subscribers that comes with a one-of-a-kind cleric companion. I agree that the other packs are trash.
