Where are the optimizations that were promised a few patches ago?

Because I don't see them.
I can play far better looking games at high settings with no problem. Whereas this game I have to lower the settings to the point its like I'm playing a MUD in the most literal sense of the word (the dirt and water kind for those who don't get my drift) and my framerate still leaves a lot to be desired.
I've never seen a game where your UI knocks 20 or more fps right off the top (my framerate literally jumps from ~20fps to 40-50fps when I enter inspect mode or use the command to disable UI).
I know it's not just me as my friends even have serious issues with performance. This game is just very badly coded as far as I can see and needs an overhaul (and really wasn't fit to leave OB, quite frankly).
Post in this thread if you have issues too. Please don't move this thread to some lonely corner where no one is gonna see it; the devs need to be made aware of this problem if one exists.

there are many thread on this including one I made myself, lets just hope that when enough people talk about it they will work on it.
with the way things work the head honchos weight costs with benefits and do analysis etc... and if fixing the issues arn't "cost worthy" well...... I don't wanna talk about it

I think you're assuming slightly too much about the development process right now- they are super-tardy about fixing bugs and exploits that directly impact their bottom line, so I wouldn't hold my breath for major player experience work to take place.
