before you decide to respond realize that i know it's super early to be suggesting this. not trying to get anyone's goat, just interested in what people would like to see with additional content.

what id like to see most would be new cities/towns (Amn, Baldurs Gate, ect), new zones, classes, races, paths and while i'm not too familiar with the foundry, i think if it was improved upon in the right ways it could be what gives this game longevity.

i know fury of the feywild is coming soon, but what would you like to see past this release?

Classes, races, and paths are coming, so those are all reasonable desires that will eventually be satisfied.

I am hoping that both Paladin and Monk will be released eventually.

I would like to see some non-story related areas, where a player can just wander about and attack monsters. Ideally, they would have several well hidden dungeon entrances available per area, 10 or so, that would possibly lead to 1 of 5 dungeons for that area, or nothing. Which entrances lead to dungeons and which dungeon they lead to would be randomly assigned with each maintenance, allowing for some sense of exploration of these areas each week.

It would also be interesting to see dungeons with multiple paths that could be accessed by using various player skills, for which kits would not substitute. This would mean some areas of the dungeons could only be explored if one of the participating characters had the skill. These extra areas would be aside from the main path of the dungeon, so members of particular classes would not be needed to finish the dungeon. Having one along would just allow the party to explore more of the dungeon.

dungeons with multiple paths which are dependent on and accessible only with certain classes sounds great.

i'm not sure how gauntlgrym works 'cause i didn't get a chance to try it before all hell broke loose, but that is sort of a non story related area with monsters and pvp isn't it? i know what you're suggesting is mainly non story driven exploration, kind of what this instanced game lacks in comparison to open world mmo's, and it's a good idea for this game too.

This game launched with 5 classes and 1 path per class, 10 years ago that would have been fine perhaps even 5 years ago, but people have come to expect more diversity and choice when playing games, you might call it entitlement or whining but that's the way it is now consumers expect more. I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing, higher expectations often lead to higher quality products especially if those with these expectations are willing to invest money to see those expectations met.

There is a lot more competition in the MMO market, it's not like before when you either played World of Warcraft or Everquest there are hundreds of MMOs to choose from. I personally really enjoy Never winter especially the combat style and lore, it's sad to log in and see fewer and fewer people, I hope they come out with some new content soon (new classes and new end game raids).

the game is good now, 6 months from now i have a feeling it'll be great, 2 years from now it possibly could be amazing but you're right, it largely depends on revenue. thing is, ive seen other mmo's in a lot worse shape at launch with a combat system, races, story, and voice acting no where near the quality of neverwinter rise from the ashes and become games worth playing and profit. if those games can do it, neverwinter will do it with ease.

New content is actually of less interest to me than fixes to what is currently broken, but well..how about more solo content? As it is, once you reach lvl 60, if you don't like PvP or grinding the same dungeons over and over, there is little of interest to do....boredom drives players away faster than anything else.
    Hoping for improvements...

a few more core classes would be nice, paladin, monk, ranger, druid.hobbits! a bit more customisation, ie armour/weapon skins
how about recreating some of the old classic tsr dungeons? imagine running 'against the giants' and the 'queen of the demonweb pits?'
(although i guess someone could do that with the foundry?assuming no copyright issues)
i'd like to see the zen pricing rethought, maybe i'd buy some then

Personally, I'd like to see more and varied endgame content. Races and classes are fine, but I'd rather have something to do with the characters I have now instead of leveling alts and replaying the same content only to end up right back where I am now with little to do.

i would like better color pallets in character creation. i want to make my person's hair which ever color i please and not have to pick from a list of like 30 hair colors/skin tones/eye colors. i want silver/white hair, blue hair, purple hair, ect... i want to have my character reflect my personality. that's the major thing i want. about races and clases looking forward to drow release at least i think that will be one of the first, and looking forward to ranger (since in most mmo's that is my first choice).

    An idea from another thread:

One type of semi-new content that I would like (and which should actually be relatively easy to implement) would be "scaled" versions of the skirmishes so you can do them, even if you are beyond the level where you can queue for them. This would give lvl 60 more to do - it would also allow people to get achivement points they are missing because they did not do a particular skirmish during the (brief) window that they currently have.

You can go back and do non-epic versions of the quests if you skipped those - but not she skirmishes.

Player Handbook Races and Classes and Paragon Paths, ie things that should've been present in the game by June 20th.

    Other than that...

    The Planes.
    The Nine Hells.

(We are "epic hero characters" after all, no?)

when i started this game, one of the first things i inquired about in zone chat was whether or not skirmishes along with dungeons would be available at 60. the answer was no... if they add this it'll keep more people busy at 60 who are less inclined to jump ship if they have more content to access.
