Who actually knows that Neverwinter has even launched?
It is better this way.
They haven't managed to fix game-breaking exploits going on since 4 weeks ago. What respectable company would advertise something like this. Bound by deadlines they made official release anyway but the game is not ready yet.
I could go on, but my point is aside from a handful of bridge dwellers who have a hate jones for Cryptic anyway no one that matters thinks this game has failed, as for mmorpg.com....really does anyone take them seriously? They hate everything it's just a hangout for trolls and how many times have they been caught with their collective feet in their mouths?
The bottom line is Neverwinter isn't the second coming nor is it an abject failure, it's an MMO that quite a few folks enjoy and has plenty of room for improvement just like most MMO's including the all important wow. Idiots will scream fail at the drop of a hat, that doesn't make it so.
Cherry-picking reviews doesn't really help your case. Metacritic critic scores are decent, but the user scores are pretty bad.
The ridiculous number of exploits, past AND present, makes it hard to see why this game as it currently stands will do more than hobble a,long with a dwindling user base....

MMORPG.com a troll site? LOL!!!!
MMORPG.com is one of the most respected MMO sites around. And so far outside the normal 'media' reviews who also gave games like TORtanic rave reviews, all I'm seeing is people tell it how it is. Neverwinter is a poorly done MMO that has nothing to really hold players to it. And handful of bridge dwellers? Last I checked that 'handful' was a huge number, I see more posts talking about why Neverwinter is dying then I do anything about why anyone likes the game.

Do not attempt to trade logic with the owners of giant, ugly poorly-drawn sigs; they are life members of the Ninth Cognitive Dissonance Lancers, curiously odd fanboys to a man, and only seeing one side of the coin is their sworn duty.

All forums are for is ppl to complain and say the game is dying. If i make a constructive feedback and discussion thread like i often do on game forums itll get a few replies from other logical ppl, a few useless posts that add nothing from the ussual fanatical troll that seems to say every game is failing, then itll be forgotten about. There arent many ppl who come to the forums to discuss and provide constructive ppl, there are mostly ppl who feel its the best place to get their complaints heard.
A little more on topic though. I feel the core gameplay is there for neverwinter, it just really needs more classes and freqient content updates to stay competative in the mmo market. Theres a lot of zen store items i want to buy but i dnt want to waste money on a character i wont play after i get a warlock or swordmage. Also myself and im sure others feel like were wastimg time putting effort into a character we wont play after we get the class we want. I really feel if classes start getting added in a reasonable time frame this game will do really well over all, as this seems to be a lot of players biggest complaint.

The game had launch but not to the point that it's ready. Felt like the devs pushed it too far, the game is nowhere near ready for launch but they might have their own plans, I just hoped that the game didn't get buried too soon, not at least until we see Module 1, which seems promising.
I hoped the game punched as hard as Rift did when it's really ready.
Cherry-picking reviews doesn't really help your case. Metacritic critic scores are decent, but the user scores are pretty bad.
Calling those reviews "Cherry Picking" is kind of like saying all Rhodes Scholars are cherry picked and you do know that metacritic user scores are about as reliable as paper shoes in a monsoon.
