My friend is having problems with the launcher login button. It won't active. He puts in his info and can't even begin to update b/c the button won't compress. Any solutions?

bump! have had this problem for the last 2 days, have been playing fine with no problems then after a short break (hadn't changed any settings or programs) i attempted to play but i couldn't click on the login button. Any fixes or other threads about this?

Hey all,
I've seen this happen before and each time it happened it was an Internet connectivity issue. Specifically, Avast Anti-virus was interfering with the client. So it may be that for some reason your Internet connectivity dropped off, or you have egress firewall rules blocking it. I could be wrong - just a thought - try flushing iptables / disable AV as a test

not for me. nothing seems to work, only restarting of the launcher.
On Ubuntu here, dll's are in, ie8 installed etc. but not finding a resolution.
Hoping someone else on Linux has found a decent work around. Or perhaps a wild dev appearing.
