Any PvE sentinel GWFs?

Hi i brought my GWF up a while back, now i got one fitted in sentinel, with balanced stats, over 3k defense, power. 2.5k crit. 50% deflection with weapon master etc.

Anyway his tankiness is fine, he can take blademasters to the face and shrug it off.

However, I'm having real trouble grabbing agro from people unless no one touches them. daring shout doesn't seem to much at all, apart from giving you the mark debuff, but id rather have them hitting me. (i didnt spec into the 10% power, because 10% of 3500, is 350, doubled threat so 700 damage? so it seemed rather pointless).

Any tips from active sentinel tanks out there? At the moment i feel like i should just put my GWF in the closet until they do something with them. I don't want to play a class that only does 1 single thing (damage).

GWF threat generation is still a small problem. GF got threat buffs to every power unlike the GWF. So being a dedicated tank is still going to be a problem. You might be able to offtank adds if you pick up the threat generating feats in Sentinel for Slam/CaGi.

Although I'm toying with the idea of stacking lifesteal to see if it generates good threat from healing. If anyone has any exp with lifesteal and tanking threat please provide some input :p

A greater life drinker would do wonders for your threat. Helped me out during my tanking days pre-patch. Not sure how it would work out with healing threat being spaced out now.
