What should i be looking for in stats

hey,

when it comes to gear, what stats are important to the TR class.
I usually just put on gear when it says RECOMMENDED, but is that truly what i need?
Sometimes a piece of gear has better stats then what im wearing but has lower specs on defense and therefor not recommended.
im just looking for the right combination...
in auctioneer, what should i look for stats wise.

    It depends on what you are trying to do, and what your play style is. If you are just leveling and soloing I think high Defense and some Regeneration are important unless you like eating potions constantly, even with a Cleric companion. When you get into grouping Recovery, Critical and Power are more important. I have heard Armor Pen is more important on bosses, but has very little factor on normal mobs. CRIT is nice for soloing too. I have 800 defense (level 35) that is 20% damage mitigation. So that makes one more survivable when soloing.

    Read the stats on your character and see what you are getting from each stat.
