A reason for the extended downtime on Gauntylgrim, possibly it's getting reworked since in it's current state, it's pretty unrewarding. Hopefully some of the following may be implemented:
1. Balanced teams in each phase
2. No more event timer, Gauntylgrim is always available
3. New game modes instead of resource collection and point capping

No, they are fixing an issue that caused people to be locked out of the game.

Agreed. The "going live" is hilariously terrible. Here's a pile of **** piece of content, on a timer, so you must be online at specific times to do it... oh and it's broken so we've removed it. LIVE!!
Hahah, have you ever and I MEAN EVER, heard of a game that went live from an OB setup where the only thing different is we have ONE more prof? O my...
They should have held off on the going live thing until the module 1 is launched, thats the kind of ammount of content that should come with a game making the transition from beta to live imho.

But on a side note ... the guys doing the cinematics are killing it!
Here's the thing about this game...the combat at its core is great. Now, if they could somehow harness the potential of it, then I would sing the praises of this game on every forum possible. MMOs are like restaurants, word of mouth is everything.

Actually, Open Beta shouldn't have even started yet. We are very far from LIVE status, IMO.... But then we'd have to wait even longer for drow, so: YAY FOR LIVE!! It's .... uh, perfect. LOL!

Ye in terms of Content this was the worse going live ever.....
And hence why it was never open beta.
It shows the /cough supposed launch was a fail.
They had of been better being honest from the start.
